The Cypriot Cup is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship. It is the second most important competition for Cypriot club teams after Cypriot Championship. Only the Cypriot First Division and the second division teams are participating in the competition.

The Minas Gerais Volleyball Federation was founded in 1942, and has organized all editions since then.

The first edition took place in 1934. The first winner was F. Grose. The record for the most wins in the men's championship is held by Gordon McCauley with 5. The current champion is George Bennett. The women's record is held by Rushlee Buchanan and with 4 wins. The U23 and elite race together in a combined race where the first across the line is the national champion. In 2019 James Fouche was the first to cross the line however being an U23 meant he was the outright national champion the same also occurred for Georgia Christie.

Paris–Camembert is a semi classic held annually in April. Since 2005, the race is organized as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. The 200 kilometres (120 mi) race starts in Magnanville, near Paris, and finishes in Vimoutiers overtaking difficulties such as côte de Canapville, côte du Moulin Neuf and Mur des Champeaux just 10 km (6.2 mi) from the finish line. Historically, the race attracted a mostly French field of riders, but the field has become increasingly more diverse. By the 1970s famous riders were regularly participating and sometimes winning the race: riders such as Bernard Hinault and Joop Zoetemelk added celebrity and allure to the race. Teams based in France most heavily contest the race, but the race today also draws UCI ProTour teams. Some riders also use the race in preparation for the Ardennes classics.

The Weltklasse in Köln was an annual one-day outdoor track and field meeting at the Müngersdorfer Stadion in Cologne, Germany. First held in 1934, it was organised by ASV Köln each August until 1999, when the meeting folded after its fiftieth edition due to financial reasons. Despite the meeting's long history, it was not included in the IAAF's international circuit, though it did receivw IAAF Grand Prix status for its final edition.

The Women's Ashes is the perpetual trophy in women's international cricket series between England and Australia. The name derives from the historic precedent of the Ashes in male cricket and, until 2013, was similarly decided exclusively on the outcomes of Test matches. Since the Australian tour of England in 2013, the competition is decided on a points system, taking account of One-Day Internationals and Twenty20 International matches as well as Tests. Four points are awarded for a Test victory, and two points for a victory in a limited-overs game. As of 31 July 2019, the trophy is held by Australia.
