The International League of Minor League Baseball was a Triple-A baseball league in the United States from 1884 to 2020. A league champion was determined at the end of each season. From the league's creation in 1884 until 1932, champions were simply the regular season pennant winners. From 1933 to 2020, postseason playoffs were held to determine champions. Playoff winners were awarded the Governors' Cup.

The International League Hall of Fame is an American baseball hall of fame which honors players, managers, and executives of the International League (IL). It was created by the International League Baseball Writers' Association in 1947 to honor those individuals who made significant contributions to the league. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class of nine former players, managers, and league officials in 1947. A plaque was unveiled at the IL's New York City offices located in the Ruppert Building at 535 Fifth Avenue. Today, the plaque has no permanent home, but exists as a traveling display which visits a number of the league's ballparks each season.

It was created by the Helms Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles in 1942 to honor those individuals who made significant contributions to the league's ideals. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class in 1943. A special Hall of Fame room was set up at Los Angeles' Wrigley Field on June 27, 1943.

The Southern Association Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) was an annual award given to the best player in Minor League Baseball's Southern Association based on their regular season performance. Though the league was established in 1901, the award was not created until 1937. It continued to be issued through the 1957 season, though the league continued operation until after the 1961 season.
