The 2019 International Swimming League was the inaugural edition of the International Swimming League, a professional swimming league, established in 2019. It comprised eight teams composed of both women and men. The league consisted of seven short course swimming meets which took place in seven cities around the world.

According to the official results athletes representing Hungary won one gold medal, three silver medals and one bronze medal; instead, the medal count appears to be four rather than five. The country finished in 25th place in the medal table.

Hungary competed at the 2019 Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy held from 3 to 14 July 2019. The country won one gold medal and two bronze medals.

The 2019 Tour de Hongrie was the 40th edition of the Tour de Hongrie, between 11 and 16 June 2019. It was the fifth edition of the revival in 2015, and was rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2019 UCI Europe Tour. The race was won by Krists Neilands, who became the first Latvian rider to win the Tour de Hongrie. Two Hungarian rider got up on the podium, Márton Dina (Eolo–Kometa) finished 2nd, Attila Valter in 3rd place.

Hungary competed at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea from 12 to 28 July.

Hungary competed at the inaugural World Beach Games in Doha, Qatar from 12 to 16 October 2019. In total athletes representing Hungary won three silver medals and one bronze medal. The country finished in 18th place in the medal table.

Hungary competed at the 2019 World Championships in Athletics in Doha, Qatar, from 27 September to 6 October 2019. Hungary was represented by 17 athletes.
