The 2019–20 Ghana Premier League was the 64th season of top professional association football league in Ghana. The season started on 28 December 2019. 18 teams compete in the league with each club playing each other twice, home and away, with the three clubs at the bottom of the league relegated to the Division One League.

Alfred Adjetey Sowah competed in powerlifting, in the men's up to 52 kg.

The Ghana Olympic Committee is committed to developing, organizing, and protecting Olympism or the Olympic Movement throughout the country. And ever since participating in the Summer Olympic Games in 1952 and the Commonwealth Games in 1954, during the Gold Coast period, the organization has been responsive to promoting the ideals of both Games, with respect to the ordinances set fourth by the Olympic Charter as well as the constitution of the CGF.

The stadium which hosted some matches during the 2008 African Cup of Nations has a capacity of about 20,000 and it was completed in 2008 by the Shanghai Construction Group of China.

TNA Park is a multi-use stadium in Tarkwa, Ghana. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Ghana Premier League team Medeama SC. The stadium currently holds 12,000 people. With the promotion of Emmanuel Stars FC to the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2010–2011 season, the stadium became their home ground.
