The name "Mosport" is a portmanteau of Motor Sport, came from the enterprise formed to build the track.

Canadian Touring Car Championship (CTCC) presented by Pirelli is a Canadian professional touring car road racing series. In 2006, it was created based on the growth of amateur touring car racing in Canada and the pent-up demand for a professional product.

The Circuit Trois-Rivières is a street circuit located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada and has been the home of the annual Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières since 1967. The circuit is located on the Terrain de l'Exposition (fairgrounds) and is unusual in that it passes through Porte Duplessis, the narrow concrete gateway of the grounds at turn 3.

ExpoCité is a multi-site entertainment complex located in the borough of La Cité-Limoilou, in downtown Quebec City. This is also the name of the corporation authorized by the City of Quebec to administer the site. ExpoCité was best known for Expo Québec an annual 12-day exhibition held in August but folded in 2016. The Salon de l'Auto de Québec is held there each March.

Flamboro Speedway is a 1/3-mile semi-banked asphalt short track motor racing oval, located twenty minutes northwest of Hamilton, in the rural community of Millgrove, Ontario, Canada. The track was established in 1962.

The track hosts a weekly Saturday night stock car racing program that runs from June to September each year, with additional Sunday night races on long weekends.

Sunset’s weekly Saturday night racing program runs from May to September each year, featuring Junior Late Models, Bone Stocks, Mini Stocks, Super Stocks and Late Models. The track regularly features touring series including the NASCAR Pinty's Series, APC United Late Model Series, OSCAAR Modifieds, Hot Rods and Outlaw Super Late Models.
