22 Ministers of Health of the Netherlands

The Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport is the head of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and a member of the Cabinet and the Council of Ministers. The current Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport is Hugo de Jonge of the Christian Democratic Appeal who has been in office since 26 October 2017 and also serves as First Deputy Prime Minister. The Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport is often assigned a State Secretary who is tasked with specific portfolios. The current State Secretary for Health, Welfare and Sport is Paul Blokhuis of the Christian Union (CU) who has been in office since 26 October 2017. Additionally there is also a Minister without Portfolio assigned to the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, Tamara van Ark of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) who has been in office since 9 July 2020.
