
The Amy Gillett Bikeway or Amy Gillett Rail Trail is a shared path in the Adelaide Hills on part of the alignment of the former Mount Pleasant railway line. It is a 17 kilometres (11 mi) sealed path suitable for recreational cycling, walking and horse riding. The trail is named after Australian track cyclist and rower Amy Gillett.

The Big Creek Greenway is a multi-use trail with two completed sections along Big Creek in the state of Georgia, United States. The first section begins at Big Creek Park in Roswell, GA and currently runs 8 miles (13 km) to Marconi Drive in Alpharetta. A second completed section of the trail begins in Forsyth County at McFarland Parkway and runs 11 miles (15.4 km). Once complete, the trail will be 12 feet wide and traverse the cities of Roswell, Alpharetta and Cumming.
The Caminho Real do Paul do Mar is a municipal trail in Paul do Mar, in the island of Madeira (Portugal). It is the first walking trail of the annual Madeira Walking Festival, which takes place in January. The trail starts from the village of Prazeres 32.752483°N 17.217014°W, and goes down to Paul do Mar Harbour 32.75269°N 17.223827°W. It is about 2 kilometres (1 mi) long and takes up to 80 minutes to complete. During the walk the villages of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar are visible, waterfalls can be seen and flora such as Pride of Madeira and Madeira mountain stock can be viewed.

The Cooloola Great Walk is a 102 kilometres (63 mi) coastal bushwalking route in the Great Sandy National Park of South East Queensland, Australia. Opened in 2010, it runs from Noosa North Shore through Cooloola to Rainbow Beach, and is planned as a five-day trek. The hiking trail was officially opened by Climate Change and Sustainability Minister Kate Jones in March 2010.

The Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail is a long-distance trail in County Mayo, Ireland. It is 61 kilometres long and begins in Balla and ends in Murrisk. It is typically completed in three days. It is designated as a National Waymarked Trail by the National Trails Office of the Irish Sports Council and is managed by the Tóchar Valley Rural Community Network. It was opened by Éamon Ó Cuív, TD, Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs on 6 March 2009. The trail won the runners-up prize in the Heritage category of the 2009 Co-operation Ireland Pride of Place awards.

The E7 European long distance path or E7 path is one of the European long-distance paths from the Portuguese-Spanish border eastwards through Andorra, France, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and Serbia. It is projected to be extended to Lisbon and into Romania, so that it reaches from the Atlantic to the Black Sea, however these stages, as well as parts of the route through Italy, are still in planning.

The E8 European long distance path or E8 path is one of the European long-distance paths, leading 4,700 km across Europe, from Cork in Ireland to Bulgaria.

The E10 European long distance path or E10 path is one of the European long-distance paths, running from Finland through Germany, Czechia, Austria, Italy and France to finish at Tarifa on the south coast of Spain.

The Gerry Connolly Cross County Trail is a 40.5-mile hiking trail in Fairfax County, Virginia that traverses the entire length of the county in an arc that begins and ends at different points near the Potomac River. The northern portion of the trail follows Difficult Run, while the southern half largely follows Accotink Creek and Pohick Creek.
The GR 14 is a Percurso pedestre de grande rota in Portugal, which connects with a corresponding path into Spain. In Portugal, it is known as the Rota dos Vinhos da Europa, and Portuguese tourist maps mark it as continuing through wine-growing areas of Spain and France to terminate at Strasbourg. As of 2015 it is not included in the list of "E-paths" published by the European Ramblers' Association; however, a long-distance route of the same number (GR 14, known as the Senda del Duero does continue the route into Spain from the border at Salto de Saucelle

The Great South West Walk is a 251-kilometre (156 mi)/ 262-kilometer (163mi) walking track, established in 1981, located in South West Victoria, Australia. The track passes through the Lower Glenelg National Park, the Cobboboonee National Park, the Discovery Bay Coastal Park, the Mount Richmond National Park and the Cape Nelson State Park, and may be explored through shorter or overnight hikes, or the entire 12- to 14-day circular hike, starting and finishing in either Portland or Nelson. A short portion of the track is located with the Lower Glenelg River Conservation Park in South Australia, near Donovans.

Hidden Valley is a self-guiding, one-mile loop trail that winds among massive boulders through what was believed to be a legendary cattle rustlers' hideout. It is one of the most popular and scenic hiking trails in Joshua Tree National Park. The area is also a popular rock-climbing area. Many visitors enjoy just watching the climbers in action.

The Jerusalem Trail, is a hiking path that extends the Israel National Trail into Jerusalem.

The Coastal Walkway is a 12.7-kilometre (7.9 mi) long walkway located along the coast of New Plymouth, New Zealand. The walkway stretches from near Port Taranaki, past the central city, through Hickford Park, past Bell Block Beach and to Tiromoana Crescent in Bell Block, north-east of New Plymouth. The walkway runs through a number of bridges, most notably, the Te Rewa Rewa Bridge.

The Ponale road, Ponale highway or lately Alpine trail D 01 is a former highway that was the first road connection between the Garda Lake area and the Ledro valley.

The Schrofen Pass is a pedestrian pass across the Allgäu Alps. It connects Oberstdorf in Germany with Warth in Austria.

The Sea to Sea Trail is a hiking path that crosses the north of Israel. Its western end is in the Mediterranean Sea at Achziv, near the Lebanese border in the far north of the country, and it extends to the Sea of Gallilee, a length of approximately 71 km. The trail is marked with different colors in different sections, and takes an average of 3–4 days to complete.

The Snowman Trek is the longest hiking trail of Bhutan that extends from Laya to the high Bhutanese Himalayas, created by the yak herders of the country. It is one of the hardest trekking trails due to hard weather, duration, and altitude in the world and only a few were able to trek. The route begins from Lunana to higher up in Gangkar Puensum, and ends in Trongsa and from there to Bumthang District, taking through the rough paths of the Himalayas and takes you as high as 5000m above the sea level. It takes you through eleven mountain passes and provides you the picturesque views of some of the highest mountains of the Kingdom like Jomolhari, Jichu Drake, Gangkar Puensum, Masangang, Tiger Mountain, etc.

St James Station is a former high country sheep and cattle station in the South Island of New Zealand. It was renowned for its horse sales and covered an area of 78,196 hectares.

A trailhead is the point at which a trail begins, where the trail is often intended for hiking, biking, horseback riding, or off-road vehicles. Modern trailheads often contain rest rooms, maps, sign posts and distribution centers for informational brochures about the trail and its features, and parking areas for vehicles and trailers. The United States access board states "A trailhead is defined as an outdoor space that is designated by an entity responsible for administering or maintaining a trail to serve as an access point to the trail."
The Ulster Way is a series of walking routes which encircles Northern Ireland. It was founded in the 1970s by Wilfrid Merydith Capper, who was inspired by Tom Stephenson's Pennine Way. The route was relaunched in 2009 by the Department of the Environment.
The Vía Verde de la Sierra is a rail trail for tourist use comprising 38 km (24 mi) of mountainous landscape between Puerto Serrano and Olvera villages, provinces of Cádiz and Sevilla. It is part of Vías Verdes of Spain.

The Waterford Greenway, also known locally as the Déise Greenway, is a Rail trail in County Waterford, Ireland, used for cycling and hiking. It opened in March 2017, on what was originally the Mallow/Waterford railway line, and forms part of EuroVelo 1 route.
