
Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia is the national governing body of swimming, water polo, synchronised swimming, diving and open water in Malaysia. It is charged with selecting Malaysia Olympic Swimming team and any other teams which officially represent Malaysia, as well as the overall organization and operation of the sport within the country. The national headquarters is located at the National Aquatic Centre, National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

Confederação Brasileira de Desportos Aquáticos is the governing body of Swimming, Water polo, Synchronised swimming, Diving, and Open water swimming in Brazil. Formed in 1977, it is headquartered in Rio de Janeiro. CBDA is a member of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), Swimming Union of the Americas (ASUA) and the South American Swimming Confederation (CONSANAT) and it is affiliated to the Brazilian Olympic Committee.

Hungarian Swimming Association is the governing body of swimming in Hungary. It is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1907 on a meeting at the Hungarian Olympic Committee.

The Icelandic Swimming Association is the national governing body for aquatics in Iceland. It is affiliated to both LEN and FINA.

The Swimming Federation of India (SFI) is the national governing body for aquatic sports in India. Legally, it is a non-profit association registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1861. The Federation holds elections for its office bearers every four years. The SFI currently oversees competition in the sports of swimming, masters swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, high diving, and water polo. It is affiliated to FINA, and the Asia Swimming Federation (ASF).

The Irish Amateur Swimming Association (IASA) was the national governing body of swimming in Ireland. The organisation was founded in 1893 and held responsibility for the various aquatic disciplines until it was dissolved in January 1999 following a series of sexual abuse scandals.

Lietuvos plaukimo federacija is the governing body of swimming in Lithuania. It is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1924. During Soviet Union occupation federation was closed and re-founded at 1991. It is both a member of LEN and FINA.

The Philippine Swimming Incorporated (PSI) is the national governing body for swimming and other aquatic sports in the Philippines. It is accredited by the International Swimming Federation which is the governing body for the sport of Swimming in the world, and the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC).

It is an independent sports organization, member of the LEN, FINA, Sports Association of Serbia, Olympic Committee of Serbia.

Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) is the national governing body for swimming, diving, synchronised swimming, water polo and open water swimming in Singapore. Founded in 1939 as the Singapore Amateur Swimming Association (SASA), the body adopted its current name in 2002. It has been a member of FINA since 1939, and is one of 43 members of the Asia Swimming Federation.

Swim Ireland is the national governing body of swimming, diving, water polo, open water swimming and synchronised swimming in the island of Ireland. Competitors from Northern Ireland can opt to compete for British Swimming in international competitions, with the exception of the Commonwealth Games where they can compete for Northern Ireland.

It is accredited by the International Swimming Federation which is the governing body for the sport of Swimming in the world, and the National Olympic Committee of Thailand (NOCT). It founded on 24 June 1959.

USA Swimming is the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States. It is charged with selecting the United States Olympic Swimming team and any other teams which officially represent the United States, as well as the overall organization and operation of the sport within the country, in accordance with the Amateur Sports Act. The national headquarters of USA Swimming is located at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Swim Wales (WASA) is the national governing body of diving, swimming and water polo, in Wales. It is responsible for establishing the laws of the sport, for organising certification and education programmes for coaches, officials and teachers, and for recreational swimming, aiming to ensure that everybody in Wales has the opportunity to learn to swim.
