Wii Sports is a 2006 sports simulation video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii video game console. It is one of the first titles to require the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which was bundled with the game. Wii Sports Resort was first announced at E3 2008 and was released in Japan on June 25 2009 and in nearly all other regions in the following month. While the game was originally released only as a stand-alone title, it was later bundled with newer Wii consoles alongside Wii Sports.

World Games is a sports video game developed by Epyx for the Commodore 64 in 1986. Versions for the Apple IIGS, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Sega Master System and other contemporary systems were also released. The NES version was released by Milton Bradley, and ported by Software Creations on behalf of producer Rare. A Virtual Console version was released in Europe on April 25, 2008.
