She is a ten-time world champion in orienteering, a ten-time world champion in ski-orienteering, a one-time world champion in skyrunning and a one-time world champion in ski mountaineering. She competes for Stora Tuna OK in orienteering and Alfta-Ösa OK in ski orienteering.

Liisa Anttila is a Finnish orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor and world champion in both sports.

Peter Arnesson is a Swedish ski-orienteering competitor. He won a bronze medal in the sprint distance at the 2004 World Ski Orienteering Championships in Åsarna/Östersund in Sweden, and placed fourth with the Swedish relay team, and fifth in the middle distance. He placed overall second in the World Cup in Ski Orienteering in the 2007/2008 season.
Vidar Benjaminsen is a Norwegian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. He has received four gold medals, four silver medals and seven bronze medals at the World Ski Orienteering Championships, from 1986 to 1996. He won the overall World Cup in Ski Orienteering in 1989 and 1993.

Nicolò Corradini is an Italian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion.
Magne Dæhli is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, ski-orienteer and cross-country skier. His achievements include five medals in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships, of which three are gold medals. His best individual performances include a silver medal in the long distance from the European Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in the middle distance from the 2019 World Orienteering Championships.

Lena Marie Eliasson is a Swedish orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor. She received a bronze medal in sprint at the World Orienteering Championships in Kyiv in 2007.

Josefine Engström is a Swedish ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. She won a gold medal in the relay at the 2009 World Ski Orienteering Championships, with team members Helene Söderlund and Marie Ohlsson, and a bronze medals in middle distance. She also won the gold medal during the 2015 World Championships long distance event.

Polina Sergeyevna Frolova, née Malchikova is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor. She won a gold medal in the middle distance at the 2011 World Ski Orienteering Championships in Sweden, ahead of Alena Trapeznikova and Stine Olsen Kirkevik.

Anne Margrethe Hausken Nordberg is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, World champion and European champion. She took the overall victory in the 2008 World Cup.

He received bronze medals in sprint at the World Orienteering Championships in Kyiv in 2007 and in Olomouc in 2008. His brother, Lars, is a member of the Rockford Icehogs

Simona Karochová is a Czech orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor. She won a bronze medal in the relay event at the 2009 World Ski Orienteering Championships, with Barbora Chudíková and Helena Randáková.

Matti Keskinarkaus is a Finnish ski-orienteering and mountain bike orienteering competitor. He is ski-O world champion and winner of the overall ski-O world cup year 2001.

Eduard Alexandrovich Khrennikov is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion, and three times winner of the overall World cup. He received a gold medal in the long course at the 2004, 2005 and 2007 World Ski Orienteering Championships, in the middle distance in 2002 and 2007, and in sprint in 2004 and 2007. He won the overall World Cup in Ski Orienteering in 2000, 2003 and 2006, and finished 3rd in 2001. Khrennikov by winning the middle distance at the 2017 Winter Military World Games in Sochi, Russia won his fifth medal in this competition. He continued winning three more gold medals there.

Viktor Stanislavovich Korchagin is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. He received a gold medal in the long distance at the 1998 World Ski Orienteering Championships in Windischgarsten.

Hanna Kosonen is a Finnish politician and former ski-orienteering competitor. She was Finland's Minister of Science and Culture from August 2019 till August 2020.

Anastasia Alexandrovna Kravchenko is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor and World Champion. She won a gold medal in the long course, and a silver medal in the relay at the 2009 World Ski Orienteering Championships.

Ivan Kuzmin is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. He received a gold medal in the short distance at the 1994 World Ski Orienteering Championships in Val di Non, shared with Nicolo Corradini.

Andrei Leonidovich Lamov is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. He is a six-time World Champion.

Øystein Kvaal Østerbø is a Norwegian orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor. He finished overall third in the Orienteering World Cup in 2004, and won a silver medal in the relay in the 2004 World Ski Orienteering Championships. He has competed in all fifteen World Orienteering Championships since his debut in 2004 until 2018, obtaining his first two medals in Inverness in 2015; in the relay and mixed sprint relay, respectively. His best individual achievements are fourth places in the sprint in 2005 and 2010.

Marte Reenaas is a Norwegian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. She won a gold medal in the relay event at the World Ski Orienteering Championships in Levi in 2005, together with Kjersti Reenaas and Stine Hjermstad Kirkevik. She received a bronze medal in the long distance in Moscow in 2007.

Helene Söderlund is a Swedish ski-orienteering competitor and World Champion. She won a gold medal in the relay at the 2009 World Ski Orienteering Championships, and medals in both the long, middle and sprint events.
Olli-Markus Taivainen is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor and World Champion. He won a gold medal in the middle distance, a silver medal in the sprint and a bronze medal in the long distance at the 2009 World Ski Orienteering Championships.

Mika Tervala is a Finnish mountain bike orienteering competitor, World Champion and European Champion. He won individual gold medals at the 2002, 2006 and 2007 World Championships, and a gold medal in the relay in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Mika coaches the Finnish national mountain bike orienteering teams since spring 2008.

Natalia Tomilova is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor and winner of the overall world cup.

Staffan Tunis in Vörå is a Finnish ski-orienteering competitor. He received a silver medal in the middle distance and a bronze medal in the sprint at the 2007 World Ski Orienteering Championships. He finished 5th with the Finnish relay team at the 2007 world championships.

Maret Vaher is an Estonian orienteer. She competed at the 1994 World Ski Orienteering Championships in Val di Non, where she won a bronze medal in the long distance, and placed 7th in the relay with the Estonian team.

Tatiana Germanovna Vlasova is a Russian ski-orienteering competitor and world champion. She received nine gold medals at the World Ski Orienteering Championships from 2000 to 2009. She won the overall World Cup in Ski Orienteering in 2007/8, and finished 2nd in 2001, 2003 and 2006.
