Best athlete Marge Kõrkjas has performed in four Paralympics and won always at least one medal, total of 7. The two other gold medalists are Annely Ojastu and Sirly Tiik.

They were founded in 2007, and played their first game, a friendly match against Eesti Noortekoondis on 06.08.07 in Narva. Big Diamonds won 20:2 (8:0;6:2;6:0). The Big Diamonds played 10 of the team's home games in Tartu, 4 in Narva, 4 in Tallinn, and 2 in Kohtla-Järve. They dissolved in the summer of 2008 due to financial problems

Tartu Ski Marathon is a long-distance cross-country skiing competition, held annually in Estonia, on third Sunday of February. It debuted in 1960 and has been a part of Worldloppet since 1994.

Tartu Välk 494 is an ice hockey team located in Tartu, Estonia, and playing in the Coolbet Hokiliiga, the top tier of ice hockey in Estonia. They play home games at the Astri Arena.
The Tondiraba Ice Hall, is a multi-purpose indoor arena complex in Tallinn, Estonia. It was opened on 1 August 2014 and is owned by the City of Tallinn. It has a current capacity of 7,700 spectators. It can host among other things basketball games, ice hockey games, curling and concerts.
Valga Keskstaadion is a multi-use stadium in the town of Valga, Estonia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosts the matches of FC Valga Warrior. The stadium holds 653 people and was opened in 1956.
