The prize fund in 2019 was US$3,000,000.

The Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It debuted in 2019 at the Four Season Golf & Sports Club Orlando. The tournament field is limited to winners on LPGA Tour events in the previous two years. As is the case in the past, there is also a pro-am and celebrity tournament, like its predecessor. The top amateurs during the midweek pro-am are invited to play in the main tournament. Each professional is paired with two celebrities or amateurs in the groupings, and celebrities change per round. A Stableford-based system is used for the celebrities and amateurs.

The Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour that is played in Michigan. A new event in 2019, it is held at Midland Country Club in Midland, Michigan. It is a team event, similar to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on the PGA Tour, with alternate shot (foursome) in the first and third rounds and better ball (fourball) for the second and fourth rounds. Dow Chemical Company is the title sponsor.

The Euro T20 Slam is a proposed Twenty20 (T20) cricket tournament planned to be held in Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. The first edition of the tournament was scheduled to start in August 2019 with six teams competing. On 14 August 2019, two weeks before play was due to begin, the organisers confirmed that they were postponing the tournament. The recently concluded Global T20 Canada, which was put on by the same organisation, had been beset with problems, with the players involved at one point refusing to travel to a game because of missing payments.

The Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship is a men's senior professional golf tournament on the European Senior Tour. It was held for the first time in June 2019 at Trevose Golf & Country Club near Padstow, Cornwall, England. Prize money was €200,000.

The FIA Formula 3 Championship is a third-tier international single-seater racing championship and organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship launched in 2019 as a feeder series for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and FIA Formula 2 Championships. It was the result of a merger between two third-tier single-seater racing championships, the GP3 Series and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship as it was announced on 10 March 2018. The championship is part of the FIA Global Pathway consolidation project plan. The IndyCar Classic was an IndyCar Series race that was held at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. The only running of the race took place on March 24, 2019, and was won by Colton Herta. In 2020, the race was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was not included on the 2021 IndyCar Series schedule.

The Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey is an IndyCar Series race held at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca near Monterey, California. The event dates back to 1960, and became an American open wheel race in 1983. The race was part of the CART/Champ Car series from 1983 through 2004. After a fifteen-year hiatus, the event returned in 2019 as part of the IndyCar Series, replacing Sonoma.

The tournament replaced the Quicken Loans National on the PGA Tour schedule. It is the first PGA Tour event in history to be held completely within the Detroit city limits. For the 2019 season, the event was part of the Open Qualifying Series, giving two non-exempt players entry into The Open Championship.
