
The Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet, also known as Jacarepaguá after the neighbourhood in which it was located, and also as the Autódromo Riocentro, was a motorsport circuit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Opened in 1977, it hosted the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix on ten occasions, and was also used for CART, motorcycle racing and stock car racing. In 2012, it was demolished to make way for facilities to be used at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

The Brandt Centre is an indoor arena in Regina, Saskatchewan, located on the city's exhibition grounds Evraz Place. Built in 1977, it is the home arena for the WHL's Regina Pats. It is owned by the city of Regina and operated by the Regina Exhibition Association Ltd. (REAL).

Cross Insurance Arena is a multi-purpose arena located in Portland, Maine. Built in 1977, at a cost of US$8 million, it is the home arena for the Maine Mariners of the ECHL. There are 6,206 permanent seats in the arena, and it seats up to 9,500 for concerts.

Dee Events Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, United States. The circular, 11,592-seat domed arena, similar in design to many of the era, opened 44 years ago in 1977 and was named for the Lawrence T. Dee family, for his extensive contributions in building the arena.

The Don Haskins Center, formerly known as the Special Events Center, is the home of UTEP Miners men's and women's basketball. The venue is located in the heart of El Paso, Texas. Expo Hall is an indoor arena located at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida. It is used primarily as an exhibition hall during the Florida State Fair, but has also hosted concerts and sporting events.

The Gerhard-Hanappi-Stadion was a football stadium in Hütteldorf, in the west of Vienna, Austria. It was the home ground of Rapid Vienna. It was officially opened in 1977 as "Weststadion". In 1980 it was renamed to honour its architect, Austrian football player Gerhard Hanappi. Among fans the stadium was also known as "Sankt Hanappi", in reference to the fans' slogan Rapid ist uns're Religion.

The Golden Dome Athletic Center in Newark, New Jersey is the hub of Rutgers–Newark athletics and teams, the Scarlet Raiders. It is located at 42 Warren Street between Downtown and University Heights. Built in 1977, it seats 2,000. The facility includes two gyms, five outdoor tennis courts, four racquetball courts, an exercise/dance studio and a 25-yard, eight-lane pool.
R.W. Harrison HPER Complex is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Itta Bena, Mississippi. Constructed in 1977, it is home to the Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils basketball and volleyball teams.

The stadium was built in 1977 and, along with Cy-Fair FCU Stadium, serves as the home field for all Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District varsity football games, and soccer games. Cy-Fair ISD Stadium was renamed Ken Pridgeon Pridgeon Stadium in 1994, in honor of Oran Kenneth Pridgeon, who served as Cy-Fair ISD Athletic Director from 1967 to 1998.

The UIS Prairie Stars are the athletic teams that represent the University of Illinois at Springfield, located in Springfield, Illinois, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Prairie Stars compete as members of the East Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. UIS joined the GLVC in October 2008, and earned full Division II membership in August 2010.

Kråmyra Stadion was a football stadium in the city of Ålesund, in Norway that served as the home grounds for Aalesunds FK from 1977 until Color Line Stadium opened in April, 2005. It had a capacity of 11,000 people. The venue has hosted Norway national under-21 football team matches twice, playing 0–5 against Sweden on 8 August 1972 and 3–1 against Finland on 27 April 1982.

Leangen Ishall is an indoor ice hockey arena located in Leangen, Trondheim, Norway. The capacity of the arena is 3,000 and it was opened in 1977. It is the home arena of the Nidaros ice hockey team. The arena also hosted the home games of the Trondheim Black Panthers and Rosenborg ice hockey team.
McCann Arena is a 3,200-seat multi-purpose arena in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States. It was built in 1977 and is home to the Marist College Red Foxes men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball teams.

Memorial Stadium is a stadium in Mesquite, Texas. It was completed in 1976 and is located on the campus of West Mesquite High School, next to Mesquite Tower. The field is primarily used for football, and all five High Schools in Mesquite share use of the field.

Memorial Stadium is a stadium in Stephenville, Texas. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Tarleton State University Texans football team. It was built in 1977 and currently seats 10,000 people, the stadium seated 7,000 in the original configuration. In 2004, the playing surface was changed from natural grass to synthetic turf. The stadium is also the home of the Stephenville High School Yellow Jackets football team. The stadium went through an extensive remodel that was completed in the summer of 2019, a new pressbox and home grandstand was built on the west side of the stadium. The east side of the stadium which was the former home side is now the visitors section and the old pressbox is now for the visiting coaches and for overflow media.

Mississippi Coast Coliseum is an 11,500-seat reserved seating, 15,000 festival seating, multi-purpose arena in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was built in 1977. It hosted the WCW Beach Blast in 1993 and the Sun Belt Conference men’s basketball tournament in 1992 and 1993. The Metro Conference men's basketball tournaments were contested there in 1990 and 1994. In addition, the rematch between legendary boxing former world heavyweight champion Larry Holmes and his fellow former world heavyweight champion Mike Weaver was held at the Coast Coliseum on November 17, 2000; Holmes winning by sixth round technical knockout.

The Mountain Health Arena, originally known as the Huntington Civic Center, later as the Huntington Civic Arena and later, for sponsorship reasons as the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, is a municipal complex located in the downtown area of Huntington, West Virginia, one block west of Pullman Square. The arena consists of a 9,000-seat multi-purpose arena and an attached conference center. It is home to numerous concerts and events, and was the home of the Huntington Hammer of the Ultimate Indoor Football League for 2011. Marshall University's graduation ceremonies are also held at the arena. It was renamed for sponsorship reason to its current name in 2019.

North Alabama Speedway located just outside Tuscumbia, Alabama, USA is a 3/8 mile high banked clay oval. North Alabama Speedway opened in 1977, operating through 1987. It reopened in 1990, operating through 1993, and reopened again in 1995. In 2007 it is hosting events for World of Outlaws Late Model Series and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Oulunkylä Ice Rink, Oulunkylän tekojäärata or Oulunkylä artificial skating rink consists of an indoor ice hockey-sized rink and an outdoor bandy field in Oulunkylä, Helsinki, Finland. It is also used for figure skating, speed skating, and recreational skating. It is the home arena for Botnia-69, and was the venue for the final games at the 1983 Bandy World Championship as well as the 1991 tournament.

The Pavilion at ARC is an 8,000-seat indoor multi-purpose stadium on the campus of the University of California, Davis in unincorporated Yolo County, California.

The Raising Cane's River Center Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the United States. The arena can be combined with the exhibition hall to create more than 100,000 square feet of contiguous convention or exhibit space. The arena which opened in 1977 presents concerts, sporting events, theater events, trade shows, and family shows, with seating for up to 10,400 for concerts, 8,900 for sporting events and 4,500 for theatre events. Besides sporting events, the arena hosts the annual Louisiana Senior Beta Club Convention.

The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center is a 250,000-square-foot (23,000 m2) exhibition center, in Rapid City, South Dakota. It contains two multi-purpose arenas, a Fine Arts Theatre, two large convention/exhibit halls, and numerous other meeting rooms all under one roof. The grand opening event was a concert by Elvis Presley on June 21, 1977. That concert was filmed for a CBS television special that aired in October. The concert was during the singer's final tour before his death on August 16, 1977.
The Rutgers Athletic Center, more commonly known as the RAC, is an 8,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Piscataway, New Jersey on Rutgers University's Livingston Campus. The building is shaped like a truncated tent with trapezoidal sides on the north and south ends. It is home to the men's and women's Rutgers Scarlet Knights basketball teams as well as the wrestling and gymnastic teams. Previously, the University used the 3,200-seat College Avenue Gym from 1931 to 1977.

Suffolk Meadows was a quarter horse racing facility on Long Island that operated during 1977 and 1986. The racetrack was situated on a 65-acre (0.26 km2) parcel located in Yaphank northwest of the William Floyd Parkway interchange on the Long Island Expressway.

The Estadio Victoria de Girón is a multi-use stadium in Matanzas, Cuba. It is currently used mostly for baseball games and is the home stadium of Matanzas Cocodrilos. The stadium holds 22,000 and was built in 1977.

The J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome is an indoor multipurpose stadium located on the campus of Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Flagstaff, Arizona. It is primarily used as the home of the NAU Lumberjacks football and both men's and women's basketball teams of the Big Sky Conference. The seating capacity is 11,230, with 10,000 permanent seats and 1,230 seats in portable bleachers.

WesBanco Arena is a multi-purpose arena located in Wheeling, West Virginia. It was built in 1977 at a cost of $7 million. It is home to the Wheeling Nailers ice hockey team, the West Virginia Roughriders indoor football team, and the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference wrestling tournament.
