
Aigars Apinis is a Latvian athlete. He participates in F52 class which means he has limited finger movement and no trunk or leg function. He started to practice in 1998, but already at the 2000 Summer Paralympics he won two bronze medals – in discus throw and shot put. At the 2004 Summer Paralympics he became the Olympic champion in discus throw and was 4th in shot put.

Ihar Boki is a visually impaired Belarusian Paralympic swimmer. He competed at the 2012 and 2016 Paralympics and won 11 gold medals. As of February 2013, he holds the S13 long course world records in 100, 200 and 400 metre freestyle, 50 and 100 metre backstroke and 200 metres individual medley events. In 2018, he was named the World Disabled Male Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World.

Michèle George is a Paralympic equestrian of Belgium. A horse-riding accident caused her to have hemiplegia in her left leg. She won two gold medals at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, and another gold and one silver at the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

Samwel Mushai Kimani is a visually impaired middle-distance runner from Kenya. He won the 5000 m – T11 event at the 2016 Paralympics. Previously he won a silver and a gold medal in the 1500 m – T11 at the 2008 and 2012 Paralympics, respectively. Kimani won gold in the 2017 Para Athletics championships in London on Friday 21 July in the T11 1500m.

Henry Kiprono Kirwa, commonly known as Henry Kirwa, is a Paralympian athlete from Kenya competing mainly in category T13 middle distance events.

Oumar Basakoulba Kone is a paralympic athlete from Côte d'Ivoire competing mainly in category T46 400m and 800m events.
Jakub Krako is a visually impaired alpine skier who competed for Slovakia at the 2010 Winter Paralympics. He won three gold medals and a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Paralympics.

Marc Philippe Ledoux is a Belgian Paralympic table tennis player with cerebral palsy. His father, Alain Ledoux, also competed in Paralympic table tennis. Marc Ledoux has won two medals at the 2004 Summer Paralympics. He has won two European titles and also won silver and bronze medals in team events with Mathieu Loicq and Nico Vergeylen.

Noelle Lenihan is an Irish paralympic discus thrower competing in the F38 category for athletes with cerebral palsy. Lenihan is a double European champion in the event and, as of August 2018, holds the world record in the classification at 32.95 metres.

Abdelillah Mame is a Paralympian athlete from Morocco competing mainly in category T13 middle distance events.

Itzhak Mamistvalov is an Israeli Paralympic swimmer. Mamistvalov was born with cerebral palsy, and uses his right hand only when swimming. Classified S1, the class for swimmers with the most severe disabilities, he competes in S1 and S2 events.

Nada Matić is a disabled Serbian table tennis player. In the 2016 Summer Paralympics she won bronze medal in the individual class 4 competition and with Borislava Perić she won silver medal in the Women's team – Class 4–5.

Barbara Minneci is a Belgian Para-Equestrian Grade II, in dressage who is well recognised for riding side saddle. She rode her horse Barilla at the 2012 Summer Paralympics and stood out due to her riding style and Barilla being a Gypsy Cob type. They did not place in the medals.

Draženko Mitrović is a Paralympian athlete from Serbia competing mainly in category F53/54 discus events.

Stefan Olsson is a Swedish wheelchair tennis player. Olsson is the former world number two singles player. He has won two Grand Slam titles in doubles, the 2009 US Open and the 2010 Wimbledon titles, and two in singles, at Wimbledon in 2017 and 2018. Olsson has won both the singles and doubles events at the year end Masters and is one half of the reigning men's doubles champion at the Paralympic Games. He started playing tennis at the age of seven.

Dzmitry Salei is a visually impaired Belarusian Paralympic swimmer who in 2014 switched national teams to Azerbaijan.

Raed Salem is a Paralympian javelin thrower from Egypt who competes in category F57 events. He won bronze medals at the 2012 Paralympics and 2013 World Championships.
Elkin Alonso Serna Moreno is a Paralympic athlete from Colombia competing mainly in category T12 long distance events.

Ananias Shikongo is a Paralympian athlete from Namibia competing mainly in category T11 shortdistance events. He was born in 1986 and lives in Windhoek, Namibia. He shares a shack in the Katutura township with Paralympic silver medalist and school friend Johannes Nambala.

Rungroj Thainiyom is a para table tennis player from Thailand. He has won a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics and a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics. He was the first Thai to win a Paralympic gold medal in table tennis.

Aliaksandr Tryputs is a wheelchair athlete from Belarus who specializes in throwing events.

Peter Vikström is a wheelchair tennis player. He won the Paralympic men's doubles competition at the 2012 Summer Paralympics with his partner Stefan Olsson. He started playing tennis when he was 21.
