The Accademia Musicale Chigiana is a music institute in Siena, Italy. It was founded by Count Guido Chigi Saracini in 1932 as an international centre for advanced musical studies. It organises Master Classes in the major musical instruments as well as singing, conducting and composition. During the summer months a series of concerts are held under the title of Estate Musicale Chigiana.

The Argentine Interpreters Association is a non profit-making organisation that, since 1954, has been responsible for the collection, management and distribution of the performing rights of musicians in Argentina, enshrined in Article 56 of Law 11.723.

The Bokemeyer collection is a large music collection, which is housed in the Berlin State Library. It contains about 1,800 scores of music. It includes an important body of German Protestant vocal music.

The Boston Academy of Music is an institute of higher education in the field of music, located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1833 by Lowell Mason and William Channing Woodbridge. It was the first music school of its kind in the country. In the 1830s-1840s it occupied the Odeon on Federal Street.

Brahms-Institut acquired the largest private collection of Johannes Brahms engravings, manuscripts and first and early prints in 1990. In addition to Brahms, the focus is on Robert and Clara Schumann, Theodor Kirchner, Joseph Joachim, and some lesser known performers and composers of the era. The Canadian Music Centre holds Canada's largest collection of Canadian concert music. The CMC exists to promote the works of its Associate Composers in Canada and around the world. The Centre was founded in 1959 by a group of Canadian composers who saw a need to create a repository for Canadian music.

The Cinema Organ Society (COS) was founded in 1952 by Hubert Selby and Tony Moss for those interested in organ music as entertainment. The aim of the society is to preserve and promote the presentation of these wonderful instruments for the enjoyment of existing and future generations.

The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada, established in 1990 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, is an international school teaching Highland bagpiping, Scottish-style snare drumming, Highland Dancing and Island step dancing. General (Ret'd) John de Chastelain was a director at the College. The College of Piping is the most prestigious piping organisation on Prince Edward Island. The College has won 5th place in Grade 3B at the 2012 World Pipe Band Championships and 4th place in Grade 3b at the 2007 World Pipe Band Championships. In addition to these accomplishments are numerous awards from Atlantic Canada, Quebec and the Eastern United States. Many of the members of The College of Piping Pipe Bands are also award-winning soloists, bringing home local, regional, national and international prizes for their respective grade.

The Country Dance and Song Society is a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote participatory dance, music, and song with English and North American roots. Its vision statement is "Communities strengthened by dancing, singing, and making music together."

The Delian Society was an international community of composers, performers, academics, independent scholars, recording engineers, music publishers, and amateurs dedicated to revitalizing and promoting tonality in contemporary art music. The society was founded on 23 January 2004 by American composer Joseph Dillon Ford and takes its name from the Greek Island of Delos, legendary birthplace of Apollo, god of music and light. Members have collaborated in producing an ongoing series of Delian Suites for various soloists and ensembles.

From the Top is an independent nonprofit organization known best for its longstanding NPR radio and PBS television programs with the same name. Co-founded by Gerald Slavet and Jennifer Hurley-Wales in 1995, the organization showcases and develops emerging classical musicians through live events, radio and video broadcasts, scholarships, and arts education programs aimed at empowering young citizen-artists.

The Fryderyk Chopin Institute is a Polish organization dedicated to researching and promoting the life and works of Polish composer Frédéric Chopin. It was created in 2001 as the result of legislation in the Polish Parliament and is under direct control of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Its headquarters are located in Warsaw.

The Indiana State School Music Association, Inc. is a scholastic music association, with a mission to provide educationally evaluated music performance activities for the students and teachers of the state of Indiana, to assist in the development of performance-oriented assessment of state and national musical academic standards, and to offer educational support to fulfill this mission. The Northern Indiana School Band, Orchestra, and Vocal Association was integrated into the ISSMA in 1980.

The International Horn Society (IHS) is an international organization dedicated to players of the horn. It was founded in June 1970.

The International Library of African Music (ILAM) is an organization dedicated to the preservation and study of African music. Seated in Grahamstown, South Africa, ILAM is attached to the Music Department at Rhodes University and coordinates its Ethnomusicology Programme which offers undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Ethnomusicology that include training in performance of African music. ILAM, as the largest repository of indigenous African music, is particularly known for its study of the lamellophone mbira of Zimbabwe and Mozambique, as well as the Chopi people's Timbila, a variant of the marimba from southern Mozambique.

The International Mozarteum Foundation was founded in 1880 in Salzburg with its primary concern being the life and work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Closely affiliated with the Mozarteum University Salzburg, it was preceded by the Cathedral Music Association and Mozarteum of 1841. It collects Mozart memorabilia, maintains the Mozart library, the Mozart birthplace and other Salzburg locations linked with Mozart. The Foundation also promotes research regarding Mozart and administers various awards such as the Mozart Medal, the Preis der Internationalen Stiftung Mozarteum, the Lilli Lehmann Medal, and presents up to twenty other performances year-round.

The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) is a national organisation that administers the performing right in copyright music in Ireland on behalf of its members and on behalf of the songwriters, composers and music publishers of the international overseas societies that are affiliated to it. At present IMRO has approximately 11,000 songwriter, composer and music publisher members.
The Jewish Music Festival is an annual festival of Jewish music held in Berkeley, California, hosted by the Jewish Community Center of the East Bay. It has been held for 25 years. Notable guests have included Ben Sidran in 2014, among others.

The Louisiana Stars Drum and Bugle Corps is an Open Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps. Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, the Louisiana Stars perform in Drum Corps International (DCI) competitions.

The Neue Bachgesellschaft, or New Bach Society, is an organisation based in Leipzig, Germany, devoted to the music of the composer Johann Sebastian Bach. It was founded in 1900 as the successor to the Bach Gesellschaft, which between 1850 and 1900 produced a complete edition of Bach's works, publishing many pieces for the first time. On completion of these collected works, the original Society dissolved itself.

The Royal College of Music, Stockholm is the oldest institution of higher education in music in Sweden, founded in 1771 as the conservatory of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. The institution was made independent of the Academy in 1971 and is now a public authority directly under the Ministry of Education and Research. Vice-Chancellor from June 2019 is Helena Wessman, former general manager of Berwaldhallen.

The Royal Danish Academy of Music, or Royal Danish Conservatory of Music, in Copenhagen is the oldest professional institution of musical education in Denmark as well as the largest, with approximately 400 students. It was established in 1867 as Kjøbenhavns Musikkonservatorium by Niels Gade – who was also the first rector –, J.P.E. Hartmann and Holger Simon Paulli on the basis of a testamentary gift from the jeweler P.W. Moldenhauer, and with inspiration from the Leipzig Conservatory and a conservatory founded by Giuseppe Siboni in Copenhagen in 1827. Carl Nielsen was a teacher in the period 1916–1919 and the rector during the last year of his life.

Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique (SACEM) is a French professional association collecting payments of artists’ rights and distributing the rights to the original songwriters, composers, and music publishers. Founded in 1851, it is a non-profit non-trading entity owned and managed by its members according to the business model of a cooperative.

Songwriters of Northern America (SONA) is a not-for-profit trade organization for songwriters' rights. It was founded by Michelle Lewis and Kay Hanley in January 2015, in order to advocate for fair remuneration for songwriters in the era of streaming digital music services. The organization allows songwriters to organize to lobby for better licensing rates for music creators with digital streaming companies like Spotify and Pandora. In 2016 the band sued the Justice Department who they claim "overstepped its authority and that its ruling violated the property rights of songwriters by potentially nullifying private contracts between writers who have worked on the same song." SONA also pressed for fair pay for songwriters within other music legislation including crafting, lobbying and working to pass the Music Modernization Act.

The St. Petersburg State Academic Capella, is the oldest active Russian professional musical institution with a history dating back to 1479. It is based in the city of Saint Petersburg. It has had various names over the years, including "St. Peterburg Court Chapel" and the "Glinka State Choir of St. Petersburg".

SUISA is the collecting society for Swiss songwriters, composers and music publishers. It undertakes collective rights management for its members in order to collect license fees when their musical works are performed in public, broadcast or transmitted, and to pay out performing royalties. It was formed in 1923. It is also the administrative body for the CAE number.

The Sydney University Musical Society (SUMS) is an undergraduate choral society at the University of Sydney. Founded in 1878, it is one of the oldest secular choirs in Australia, and the oldest Australian University Choir.

The Watchmen Drum and Bugle Corps is an Open Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps. Based in Riverside, California, the Watchmen perform in Drum Corps International (DCI) competitions.

The Watoto Children's Choir is a highly successful group of African children choirs based in Kampala, Uganda, at Watoto Church and which tour internationally. Each is composed of about eighteen to twenty-two children from Uganda and their extensive tours raise both money and awareness for the Watoto orphanages in Kampala.

The World Harp Congress, Inc. a private non-profit organization, was founded in 1981 as an outgrowth of the International Harp Weeks held in The Netherlands for twenty years under the leadership of Phia Berghout and Maria Korchinska.
