
Aisulu Almaty are an ice hockey team in the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL). They play in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace. The team participated in every holding of the IIHF European Women Champions Cup, from 2004 until its scheduled stoppage in 2015, winning bronze at the 2008 tournament. They have competed in the EWHL since the 2015–16 season and placed third in the league in 2016 and 2020.

The Central Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Almaty, Kazakhstan and the largest sports complex in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium is shared by FC Kairat Almaty. It also serves as the home stadium for the Kazakhstan national football team.

Arlan Hockey Club, commonly referred as Arlan Kokshetau, is a professional ice hockey team based in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan. Founded in 2009, they play in the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship, the top level of ice hockey in Kazakhstan. The team also won the 2018–19 IIHF Continental Cup, becoming the first team from Kazakhstan to do so.

Arystan Hockey Club, commonly referred to as Arystan Temirtau, was a professional ice hockey team based in Temirtau, Kazakhstan. They were founded in 2010, and played in the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship until they declared bankruptcy in 2015.

Hockey Club Gornyak is a professional ice hockey team that plays in the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship, the top level of ice hockey in Kazakhstan. They were founded in 1958, when Kazakhstan was part of the Soviet Union. Their team colors are black, white and red. They play at the Rudny Ice Palace.

Hockey Club Astana is a professional ice hockey team based in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. They were founded in 2011, and play in the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship, the top level of ice hockey in Kazakhstan.

AFC Kairat is a futsal club based in Almaty, the biggest city of Kazakhstan. The club was founded in 1995. Since 2012 the club has been one of the strongest teams in Europe, having reached UEFA Futsal Cup semi-finals four times and winning it in 2012–13 and 2014–15 seasons.

Kazakhstan participated in the 1994 Asian Games from October 2 to October 16, 1994 in Hiroshima, Japan, which was the country's first appearance at the Asian Games since gaining independence.

Kazakhstan competed at the 2019 Winter Deaflympics which was held in Valtellina and Valchiavenna, Italy, from December 12 to 21, 2019. Kazakhstan was one of the 34 nations to compete at the multi-sport event. This was the nation's second appearance at the Winter Deaflympics, after making its debut in 2015. It sent a delegation consisting of 40 athletes for the event.

Petr Atoyan Stadium is a football stadium in Oral, Kazakhstan. It is the home stadium of FC Akzhayik of the Kazakhstan Premier League. The stadium holds 8,320 spectators.
The Saryarka Velodrome is an indoor cycle-racing track or velodrome that is located in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Constructed in the shape of a racer's helmet, the velodrome is a unique sports complex that not only houses a cycling track, but its 58,000 metre square surface area also contains a sports courts, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a basketball court, an ice rink, as well as conference halls, a restaurant and a hotel. It is mainly used for cycling and basketball.

Shakhtyor Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Shakhter.

Kazakhstan Volleyball Federation (KVF) is the governing body for volleyball in Kazakhstan. It was founded in 1992, and has been a member of FIVB. It is also a member of the Asian Volleyball Confederation. The VFRK is responsible for organizing the Kazakhstan men's national volleyball team and Kazakhstan women's national volleyball team.

Yenbek Almaty was a Soviet and Kazakh ice hockey team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. They were active from 1965 to 1985 and from 1999 to 2009.
