ASA Filmudlejning is a noted Danish film studio founded in 1936 and based in Hellerup, Copenhagen. The Bavaria Studios are film production studios located in Munich, the capital of the German region of Bavaria. They were constructed in the suburb of Geiselgasteig in 1919 shortly after the First World War. During their early years they were known as the Emelka Studios, while Geiselgasteig has also often been used to refer to them. They provided a provincial rival to the emerging dominance of Berlin studios, particularly the UFA conglomerate. Bavaria Film took over the studios, and became the dominant non-Berlin production company. While working on a co-production for Britain's Gainsborough Pictures, Alfred Hitchcock made his 1926 silent The Mountain Eagle on the Emelka stages.

In 2014 the department open a new building, the Television, Film and Media Studies Center with a new sound stage and audio post production facilities.

Carriage House Studios is a recording studio located in the suburbs of Stamford, Connecticut. Established in 1980, the Carriage House has recorded well-known artists like Diana Ross, Derek Trucks, Johnny Winter, Meatloaf, Rakim, Pantera, Ronnie Dio, Phyllis Hyman, Spyro Gyra, and Pixies. Throughout the 1980s, the Carriage House also recorded orchestral parts for B-movies, such as Missing in Action and Silver Bullet. Voice-overs for Shrek 2 were also recorded at the Carriage House.

The Chinese Culture and Movie Center is a former movie studio and tourist attraction located in the Shilin District of Taipei, Taiwan. It is owned by the Central Motion Picture Corporation. In its early period, it functioned as a film and TV drama filming location and studio. After the Republic of China government lifted martial law, many of the TV dramas and movies produced by the Center began filming in Hong Kong and mainland China. The Chinese Culture and Movie Center closed indefinitely in 2008.

Ciudad de la Luz is a film studio in Alicante, Spain. About 60 films were shot on the studio's premises between opening in 2005 and closing in 2012. In May 2012, the European Commission ruled that public subsidies received by the studio from the local government violated European competition law and ordered Ciudad de la Luz to pay back €265 million. The studio was shut down in October 2012 in preparation for its sale.

The Downey Studios was a production studio in Downey, California. The studio featured 320,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor production space including a 4,600-square-metre (50,000 sq ft) building and a 23,000 square metres (250,000 sq ft) building which was home of the largest indoor water tank in North America. A suburban residential street backlot built especially for Christmas with the Kranks, with 5 complete homes and 11 facades, was also available at the studio.

Emelco was an Argentine film studio. In 1946, Emelco reportedly had annual contracts with 530 theatres in Argentina, representing all of the first run and major second run and neighborhood theatres. It also had opened an office in New York City.
The Epinay Studios are film production studios located in Epinay in northern Paris. It was a complex with two distinct and separate structures. The earliest was built in 1902 by Eclair Film. A second studio was controlled by the French subsidiary of the German company Tobis Film. These were converted for sound in February 1929. The same year the other studio was acquired by Pathé-Natan.

Estudios Roptence were film studios located in the Spanish capital of Madrid which operated between 1932 and 1956. The studio originally manufactured sound recording equipment which was sold following the conversion from silent to sound film. The studio were dramatically rebuilt in 1935 and again in 1941. It was not damaged during the Spanish Civil War, and continued to operate. It enjoyed its peak years during the early 1940s, with ten films made there in 1940 alone. One of the companies based there during these years specialised in co-productions with Portugal. After 1946 the studio began to decline in importance as productions moved elsewhere, and was eventually closed in 1956.

The Rosenhügel Studios are film studios located in the Austrian capital Vienna. They were opened in 1923 and originally owned by the Vita-Film production company. After the company's bankruptcy the following year the studios were taken over by Sascha Film, the largest of the Austrian companies of the era. In the early 1930s Sascha formed a partnership with the German outfit Tobis Film to renovate the studios for production of sound films. A number of Austrian hit films were produced there during the remainder of the decade.
