The Academy of Arts is a state arts institution in Berlin, Germany. The task of the Academy is to promote art, as well as to advise and support the states of Germany.

A non-profit membership-based registered charity, the Council for the Arts in Ottawa (CAO) champions the arts as the bedrock for an engaged citizenry in a vibrant growing community. It focuses on services for its diverse membership. Through advocacy, information and advice to members, it seeks to increase public interest and support for the arts in the national capital region. Its membership includes over 200 artists and arts organizations, and individual and corporate supporters of the arts.

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi is a premier government-funded arts organization in India. It is an autonomous institute under the Union Ministry of Culture. It was established in the memory of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kapila Vatsyayan as its founding director.

The Arts Council is the arts council of Ireland. It was established in 1951 by the Government of Ireland, to encourage interest in Irish art and to channel funding from the state to Irish artists and arts organisations. This includes encouragement of traditional Irish arts, support for contemporary Irish arts, and finance for international arts events in Ireland. The council was modeled on the Arts Council of Great Britain, founded in 1946, and works closely with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, formed by the British government in Northern Ireland in 1962 to fulfil a similar role.

The National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) is the official arts council for the Republic of South Africa. The NAC was set in 1997 by an act of parliament(Act No 56 of 1977).

The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) is the official arts council for Zimbabwe. They award the annual National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) in recognition of outstanding achievements in the arts and culture.
The National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Philippines is the official government agency for culture in the Philippines. It is the overall policy making body, coordinating, and grants giving agency for the preservation, development and promotion of Philippine arts and culture; an executing agency for the policies it formulates; and task to administering the National Endowment Fund for Culture and the Arts (NEFCA) – fund exclusively for the implementation of culture and arts programs and projects.

The Prussian Academy of Arts was a state arts academy first established in Berlin, Brandenburg, in 1694/1696 by prince-elector Frederick III, in personal union Duke Frederick I of Prussia, and later king in Prussia.
