
Rugby Americas North, abbreviated as RAN, is the governing body for rugby union in the North American continental region. Rugby Americas North operates under the authority of World Rugby, and is one of six regional unions represented within it.

Rugby Canada is the national governing body for the sport of rugby union in Canada. Rugby Canada was incorporated in 1974, and stems from the Canadian Rugby Football Union, a body established in 1884 that now governs amateur Canadian football as Football Canada; and the now-defunct Rugby Union of Canada, established in 1929. Rugby Canada administers the Canada national rugby union team and sanctions the Rugby Canada National Junior Championship, a national competition for under-20 men's teams. It previously sanctioned the Super League as the premier level of men's competition in the country, but scrapped that league after the Americas Rugby Championship was created in 2009 as a two-stage competition in which the first involved only Canadian teams.

The Curaçao Rugby Federation is the governing body for rugby union within Curaçao. It is an associate member of [[Rugby Americas North (RAN) which is the governing body for rugby union in North America and the Caribbean.

The Dominican Rugby Federation, known as Fedorugby — or officially in Spanish: Federación Dominicana de Rugby, is the governing body for rugby union in the Dominican Republic. It was founded on 20 October 2004 and became affiliated to the North America Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) in the following year.

The Mexican Rugby Federation is the governing body for rugby union in Mexico. The FMRU organizes rugby in the country: a championship takes place at the highest level in the country, and in the same way organizes championship tournaments for youth, veterans and women.

The Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Football Union is the governing body for rugby union in Trinidad and Tobago. It was founded in 1928 and became affiliated to the International Rugby Board in 1992. It is also a member of the West Indies Rugby Union, the Trinidad & Tobago Olympic Committee and the North American and West Indian Rugby Association.

The Turks and Caicos Islands Rugby Football Union, or TCIRFU, is the body managing rugby union in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The TCIRFU has its head office and grounds on Providenciales, where Turks and Caicos rugby union international matches are played. In addition the Union also trains on Grace Bay beach on Providenciales.

USA Rugby is the national governing body for the sport of rugby union in the United States. Its role is to serve as "the national governing body charged with achieving and maintaining high levels of quality in all aspects of rugby." USA Rugby is responsible for the promotion and development of the sport in the U.S. and promotion of U.S. international participation.
