Atlanta Vision

The Atlanta Vision was an American Basketball Association (ABA) team based in Atlanta. The team began play in the fall of 2004. They finished the 2005 season with a 7–14 record, which was not good enough to make the playoffs. However, in the 2005–06 season, they finished 23-7, which was good enough for first place in the Barnes-Malone division over Tim Hardaway's Florida Pit Bulls. They also made it to the ABA's Great 8 tournament at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York, losing in the quarterfinals to the host team, the Rochester Razorsharks. The Vision won a divisional title in 2008.

The Texas Legends are an NBA G League team based in Frisco, Texas, and the minor league affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. The franchise began as the Colorado 14ers in 2006, before relocating to Frisco in 2009 and becoming the Texas Legends for the 2010–11 season. The Legends play their home games at the Comerica Center.

The franchise won three WTT championships—in 1994 and 1995, as the Stars and in 2003, as the Smash. The franchise folded after the 2008 season.

On August 11, 2009, the National Lacrosse League confirmed that the franchise would relocate to Orlando, Florida and become the Orlando Titans.

From 2006 to 2009, it played as a member of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league until a failed sale in September 2009 put an end to the team on hiatus and ultimately ended its participation in the NPF. Their home games took place at ECTB Stadium at Bicentennial Park.

The Carolina Diamonds, formerly known as the NPF Diamonds, Tennessee Diamonds, Rockford Thunder and Texas Thunder, was a women's softball team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since the 2004 season, they have played as a member of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). They were known as the Texas Thunder from 2004 to 2006, the Rockford Thunder from 2007 to 2009, and the Tennessee Diamonds in 2010. They relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2012.

The San Jose Stealth were a member of the National Lacrosse League, the professional box lacrosse league of North America from 2004 until 2009. They played at the HP Pavilion at San Jose, which is also the home of the NHL's San Jose Sharks and the AFL's San Jose SaberCats. They relocated to San Jose, California in 2003, beginning play in the 2004 NLL season. They had previously been the Albany Attack from 2000 to 2003.
