
The 2018 Canoe Marathon European Championships is the fifteenth edition of the Canoe Marathon European Championships, which took place between 5 and 8 July 2018 at Metković, Croatia. The competition consisted of seventeen events – ten in kayak and seven in canoe – divided into junior, under–23 and senior categories.

Croatia competed at the 2018 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, Spain from 22 June to 1 July 2018.

Croatia participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 6 October to 18 October 2018.

Croatia competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018, with 19 competitors in four sports.

Croatia sent seven competitors to the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, in three disciplines - alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding. Snowboarder Bruno Bošnjak won a bronze medal, the first ever medal for Croatia at any Winter Paralympic Games.

Croatia are competing at the 2018 European Athletics Championships in Berlin, Germany, from 6-12 August 2018. A delegation of 22 athletes were sent to represent the country.

The 2018 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the 13th edition and was hosted for the second time in Croatia from 12 to 28 January 2018. Croatia was awarded hosting the tournament during the EHF congress in Dublin on 20 September 2014.

The 2018 European Men's U-18 Handball Championship was the fourteenth edition of the European Men's U-18 Handball Championship, held in Varaždin and Koprivnica, Croatia from 9 to 19 August 2018.

The 2018 Rugby Europe Sevens Trophy is the second division of Rugby Europe's 2018 sevens season. This edition was hosted by the cities of Zagreb and Šiauliai from 7 June to 1 July, with the winner promoted to the 2019 Grand Prix and the two teams with the fewest points relegated to 2019 Conference 1.
