WThe coastline of Djursland in Denmark is 260 kilometers long as measured from the ferry berth in Voer in the middle of Randers Fjord ending at Avlsgård in Aarhus Bay to the south. There are 18 sandy beaches for swimming along the coastline according to the folder, Kystkort Djursland published by the peninsula's two municipalities, Norddjurs and Syddjurs. These beaches cover 15 – 20%. of the total coastline. The remaining 200 plus kilometres are mostly unspoiled coastal nature.
WDueodde is a beach in Denmark on Bornholm's southernmost tip. It is known for its very fine white sand. The area around Dueodde was originally a large sandy area. In the eighteenth century it was planted with pines, as well as Ammophila and Leymus grasses to reduce sand drift. Today, Dueodde is a protected area. The sand at Dueodde moves easily with the wind to form dunes. The vast dune area and associated sandy beach start at Haslemere extending some 30 kilometres (19 mi) almost without interruption. Apart from the beach, one noteworthy feature is the Dueodde Lighthouse on the southern tip. It is the tallest on the island. Built in 1962, it offers a panoramic view of the surroundings. The two old lighthouses, Dueodde Syd and Dueodde Nord are not open for the public.
WGlatved Beach is a coastline 10 km south of the town Grenaa in Denmark. The 5 km long beach is part of a stony coastline with fairly deep water close to the shore, spanning the 50 km long eastern shore of the peninsula, Djursland, and situated by the Kattegat sea. This stony coast starts at The Cliffs of Gjerrild to the north on Djursland, and ends 50 km to the south on Mols at the southern tip of the peninsula.
WGrenaa is a Danish town and seaport on the east coast of the Jutlandic peninsula. Tourism, education and commerce are important sectors in the economy of Grenaa. It is the only larger town on Djursland. Grenaa is the municipal seat, and the largest town, in Norddjurs Municipality, which covers the northern half of Djursland.
WSandy Grenaa Beach on Djursland's east coast – in eastern Jutland, Denmark, at the entrance to the Baltic Sea – starts at Grenaa Marina, and runs south for 6 km. The last 1.5 km are seldom visited, ending at the cape of Havknude. Here the beach turns into a stony shoreline, that continues 30 km down the east coast of the peninsula of Djursland, facing the Kattegat between Denmark and Sweden. This coastline south of Grenaa Beach is renowned amongst anglers.
WGrenen is a long sandbar spit at Skagen Odde, north of the town of Skagen.
WMarielyst is a small town and seaside resort some 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south of Nykøbing on the Danish island of Falster. Its long sandy beach has led to an extensive summer house development with some 6,000 holiday homes. As of 2020, it has a population of 725.
WRåbylille Strand is a resort on the south coast of eastern Møn, an island on the Baltic Sea in south-east Denmark. On 1 January 2007, it became part of the new Vordingborg municipality.
WStenbjerg is a fishing village on the former island of Thy in the northwest of Jutland, Denmark. It is noted for its small white fishermen's huts next to the sandy beach.
WUlvshale is a peninsula and small summer house locality in the north-western corner of the Danish island of Møn. Its long sandy beach and natural forest attract tourists, particularly in the summer months.
