Amorgos is the easternmost island of the Cyclades island group and the nearest island to the neighbouring Dodecanese island group in Greece. Along with 16 neighbouring islets, the largest of which is Nikouria Island, it comprises the municipality of Amorgos, which has a land area of 126.346 square kilometres and a population of 1,973.

Daskalio

Daskalio is a tiny uninhabited Greek islet in the Cyclades just off the west coast of the larger island Keros and formerly a promontory thereof. Its diameter is approximately 150 metres. Excavation by the Cambridge Keros Project, a joint endeavour of the University of Cambridge, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades and the Cyprus Institute, in 2008 revealed a large Bronze Age settlement and ten years later researches from the university found evidence of advanced metalworking workshops there, dating from 2500 BC.

Donousa, and sometimes spelled Donoussa, is an island and a former community in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Naxos and Lesser Cyclades, of which it is a municipal unit. Donousa is the easternmost island of the Lesser Cyclades.

Glaros

Glaros or Glaronisi (Γλαρονήσι) is an island that belongs to the Lesser Cyclades. It lies approximately 0.6 nautical miles (1.1 km) south of Koufonisi and is only about five hundred metres east of Kato Koufonisi. Glaros is extremely small, flat, uninhabited and nearly barren. This island can be visited from Koufonisi only with a special arrangement with any of the local boatsmen. There are around five small rocky islets off the east coast of Glaros.

Irakleia or Heraklia is an island and a former community in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Naxos and Lesser Cyclades, of which it is a municipal unit. Its population was officially 141 inhabitants at the 2011 census, and its land area 17.795 square kilometres (6.9 sq mi). It is a small island between the islands of Naxos and Ios. Close to Schoinoussa, Koufonisi, Donoussa, and Keros, together they form the Lesser Cyclades. The port is called Agios Georgios, while the "capital"/chora on the top of the island is called Panagia (Madonna). The biggest caves in the Cyclades are located on Irakleia. Irakleia can be reached by ferries from Athens, Naxos and Paros.

Keros (Greek: Κέρος; anciently, Keria or Kereia is an uninhabited Greek island in the Cyclades about 10 km southeast of Naxos. Administratively it is part of the community of Koufonisia. It has an area of 15 km2 and its highest point is 432 m. It was an important site to the Cycladic civilization that flourished around 2500 BC. It is now forbidden to land in Keros.

Koufonisia is a former community in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Naxos and Lesser Cyclades, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 26.025 km2.

The Lesser Cyclades or Small Cyclades is an island complex in Aegean Sea, inside the archipelago of the Cyclades. It is located to the south-east of Naxos and comprises 32 islands and rocks. The main islands are Ano Koufonisi, Kato Koufonisi, Irakleia, Schoinoussa, Donousa and Keros. The largest of them is Irakleia with an area of 18 km2 and the most populated is Ano Koufonisi with a population of 399, according to the 2011 census. Only four of them are inhabited, Ano Koufonisi, Irakleia, Donousa and Schoinoussa. The islet of Kato Antikeri has also two inhabitants. Administratively, the islands belong to the Naxos and Lesser Cyclades municipality apart from the islets of Ano and Kato Antikeri that belong to Amorgos municipality.

Naxos is a Greek island and the largest of the Cyclades. It was the centre of archaic Cycladic culture. The island is famous as a source of emery, a rock rich in corundum, which until modern time was one of the best abrasives available.

Schoinoussa

Schoinoussa or Schinoussa is an island and a former community in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Naxos and Lesser Cyclades, of which it is a municipal unit. It lies south of the island of Naxos, in the Lesser Cyclades group, between the island communities of Irakleia and Koufonisia. The population was 256 inhabitants at the 2011 census. Its land area is 8.512 square kilometres (3.29 sq mi).
