WMonte Rosa is a mountain massif located in the eastern part of the Pennine Alps. It is located between Italy and Switzerland (Valais). Monte Rosa is the second highest mountain in the Alps and western Europe, after Mont Blanc.
WThe Belvedere Glacier is a valley glacier located above Macugnaga of the Valle Anzasca in the region of Piedmont. The glacier lies at the base of the east face of Monte Rosa. It reaches approximately 2,200 metres (7,200 ft) above sea level at its highest point and terminates near the Alpe Burki at about 1,800 metres (5,900 ft). The glacier is mostly covered by rocks.

It is the second highest peak of the massif, after the Dufourspitze (4,634 m) and the second highest summit in Switzerland, but its prominence is only about 15 metres. At the time of its first ascent it was unclear which of the summits was the higher.

WThe Monte Rosa Hut is a mountain hut located near Zermatt on the Monte Rosa massif and above the Grenzgletscher sitting on a glacier-free rocky part called Untere Plattje at an altitude of 2,883 metres (9,459 ft). It is owned by the Swiss Alpine Club. The hut is the start of the normal route to the summit and other mountains in the area. The first hut was built in 1894–1895 just next to the then still much higher Border Glacier at an altitude of 2,795 metres (9,170 ft). A completely new building was inaugurated in 2009, a hi-tech, energy-wise almost self-sufficient, environmentally friendly mountain hut based on wood with an aluminium shell.
WThe Monte Rosa Tour is a circular hiking trail through the Swiss & Italian Alps around Monte Rosa (4634m). The tour also encircles the Dom in the Mischabel range.
WNordend is a northern peak of the Monte Rosa Massif. Nordend is the fourth highest peak of the massif, after the Dufourspitze, the Dunantspitze and the Grenzgipfel.
WThe Parrotspitze is a peak in the Pennine Alps of Italy and Switzerland. It is located south of Dufourspitze in the Monte Rosa Massif. The mountain is named after Johann Jakob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot, a German doctor, who made an attempt on the Piramide Vincent with Joseph Zumstein in 1816.
WThe Passo dei Salati is a mountain pass that between the Valsesia (Piedmont) and the Valley of Lys. The pass was also known by the name of the Colle Inferiore de Pisse. The term salati recalls of an ancient passage of Roman soldiers. It connects the villages of Alagna Valsesia and Gressoney-La-Trinité.
WRifugio Guglielmina was an historic alpine hut on the South side of the Monte Rosa range at 2880 m above sea level, situated in the commune of Alagna Valsesia, Piedmont, Italy. Built in 1878, it was destroyed by fire on 22 December 2011.

WThe Vincent Pyramid is a mountain of the Pennine Alps, located on the border between the Italian regions of Aosta Valley and Piedmont. The Vincent Pyramid makes up a large buttress of the huge multi-summited Monte Rosa. It lies south of the Ludwigshöhe on the border with Switzerland, between the Lysgletscher and the Piode Glacier. A seconday summit of the Vincent Pyramid, the Punta Giordani/Giordanispétz, lies to the southeast. Both Vincent Pyramid and Punta Giordani are on the official UIAA list of Alpine four-thousanders.
