Amtaedo

Amtaedo is the sixth largest island in Sinan County, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The island lies in the Yellow Sea about 25 km west of Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The highest peak on Amtaedo is Seungbong mountain (승봉산), which stands at 355 meters above sea level. In the past it was only possible travel to Amtaedo by a ferry departing from the Mokpo Coast Ferry Terminal. However, on April 4, 2019 the Angel Bridge (천사대교) was completed connecting Amtaedo with the island of Aphaedo (압해도). Since Aphaedo is connected to the mainland by two bridges, it is now possible to drive to Amtaedo by car. The neighboring islands of Jaeundo (자은도), Palgeumdo (팔금도) and Chupodo (추포도) are connected to Amtaedo by bridges.

Anmyeondo

Anmyeondo is an island in Taean county, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. Originally a peninsula, Yeonguijeong Kim Yuk ordered the flooding of the area between Changgiri (Anmyeoneup) and Sinonri (Nammyeon) to protect tax sent to Hanyang from plunder by Japanese pirates. In 1970, the Anmyeongyo bridge was constructed to connect the island to the mainland.

Baengnyeong Island is a 45.8-square-kilometre (17.7 sq mi), 8.45-kilometre (5.25 mi) long and 12.56-kilometre (7.80 mi) wide island in Ongjin County, Incheon, South Korea, located near the Northern Limit Line. The 1953 Korean Armistice Agreement which ended the Korean War specified that the five islands including Baengnyeong Island would remain under United Nations Command and South Korean control. This agreement was signed by both the DPRK and the United Nations Command. Since then, it has served as a maritime demarcation between North and South Korea in the Yellow Sea. It has a population of approximately 4,329.

There are 112 small islands and reefs in the county, traditionally called the Outer Long Mountains Island Chain and formerly sometimes called the Elliot Islands. The county has an area of 156.89 square kilometres (60.58 sq mi) and a permanent population as of 2010 of 77,951, making it Dalian's least populous county-level division, and the county government is located in the Dongshan neighborhood of the town of Dachangshandao.

Daebu Island is an island in the Yellow Sea, within the municipal borders of Ansan city, Gyeonggi province. It has a population of roughly 7,114 people and an area of 41.98 km². Due to rising mudflats, the island has merged with neighbouring Seongam-do (Hangeul:선감도) and Tan-do (탄도). Administratively, the island today is divided into five dong: Daebubuk-dong (대부북동), Daebunam-dong (대부남동), Daebudong-dong (대부동동), Seongam-dong (선감동) and Pungdo-dong (풍도동). The predominant industries are tourism and fishing. The island is connected to the mainland in the south-east by road bridges, to Hyeong-do (형도) in the north-east by several routes due to land reclamation efforts, and to Seonjae-do (선재도) to the west by a further road bridge.

Daecheong Island or Daecheongdo is a 12.63 km2 (4.88 sq mi), 7 km (4.3 mi) long and 6.3 km (3.9 mi) wide island in Ongjin County, Incheon, South Korea, near the Northern Limit Line. Dok-do is a small, rocky island in the north-eastern Yellow Sea lying about 15 km off the western coast of North Korea. It rises to a height of 85 m and has an area of 18 ha. Based on surveys conducted in 1997 and 1998, the site has been identified by BirdLife International as an Important Bird Area (IBA) because it supports small numbers of breeding endangered black-faced spoonbills and vulnerable Chinese egrets. The island has been classified as one of the Natural monuments of South Korea. The main threat to the birds is from human disturbance.

Five West Sea Islands refers to the five islands in the West Sea administrated by Incheon, South Korea. They are Yeonpyeong Island, Baengnyeongdo, Daecheongdo, Socheongdo and U Island. Their positions are much closer to North Korea as these islands are originally part of Hwanghae Province and their sovereignties are claimed by North Korea, but they are since then, controlled by South Korea since the United Nations forces established the Northern Limit Line (NLL) north of the islands in 1953 following the Korean War.

It lies within the borders of Incheon metropolitan city, and is about 5 kilometres southwest of Incheon International Airport. Yeongheung Island is an island in the Yellow Sea, within the municipal borders of Incheon metropolitan city. It has a population of roughly 4000 people and an area of 23.46 km². The island is connected by road to neighbouring Seonjae-do (Hangeul:선재도) by the 1.25 km-long Yeongheung Bridge, which opened in December 2001. Administratively, the island today is divided into ten li: Nae-ri (내리) 1 to 7, and Oi-ri (외리) 1 to 3. Employment is provided through tourism, fishing, and the thermoelectric power station, largely built on reclaimed land on the south-west coast of the island.

Yeongjong Island is an island off the west coast of the city of Incheon, South Korea, which contains Incheon International Airport as well as small villages, farms, and beaches. The previously separate Yongyu, Sammok, and Sinbul Islands have been joined to Yeongjong Island by an area of reclaimed land built for the construction of the airport. The island is an exclave of Incheon Metropolitan City's Jung-gu district, and is accessed via two bridges, Yeongjong Bridge connecting to Seo-gu and Incheon Bridge connecting to Songdo.
