AoB Plants (AoBP) is a peer-reviewed open-access, non-profit scientific journal established in 2009 and publishing on all aspects of plant biology. The editor-in-chief is Tom Buckley and the journal is published through Oxford University Press but owned and managed by the Annals of Botany Company a non-profit educational charity registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. AoBP was one of the first plant science journals to adopt a fully open access publishing model. AoB Plants has two sister journals, Annals of Botany, a subscription-based general botanical journal and in silico Plants, an open access journal devoted to all aspects of plant modelling.

Aquatic Botany is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering research on structure, function, dynamics, and classification of plant-dominated aquatic communities and ecosystems, as well as molecular, biochemical, and physiological aspects of aquatic plants. It publishes fundamental as well as applied research. The journal was established in 1975 by Cees den Hartog, who still serves as consulting editor. It is published by Elsevier and the editors-in-chief are E.M. Gross, Thomas Wernberg and Brigitta van Tussenbroek.

Aquatic Microbial Ecology is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of aquatic microbial dynamics, in particular viruses, prokaryotes, and eukaryotes in marine, limnetic, and brackish habitats. The journal was originally established as Marine Microbial Food Webs by P. Bougis and F. Rassoulzadegan in 1985, and acquired its current name in 1995. Austral Ecology: A Journal of Ecology in the Southern Hemisphere is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering research related to the ecology of land, marine, and freshwater systems in the Southern Hemisphere.
