The Asse is a 76.3-kilometre (47.4 mi) long river in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence département, southeastern France. Its source is several small streams which converge at Tartonne, 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Digne-les-Bains. It flows generally southwest. It is a left tributary of the Durance into which it flows between Valensole and Oraison, 9 kilometres (6 mi) northeast of Manosque. Its drainage basin is 657 km2 (254 sq mi).

The Bléone is a 69.5-kilometre (43.2 mi) long river in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence département, southeastern France. Its drainage basin is 906 km2 (350 sq mi). Its source is several small streams converging near the refuge de l'Estrop, a mountain shelter in Prads-Haute-Bléone. It flows generally southwest. It is a left tributary of the Durance into which it flows between L'Escale and Les Mées.

The Buëch is a river in southeastern France, a right tributary of the Durance. It is 85.3 km (53.0 mi) long. Its drainage basin is 1,478 km2 (571 sq mi). Its source is in the Dauphiné Alps, near the peak of Grand Ferrand. It flows generally southward for most of its course in the Hautes-Alpes département, and flows into the Durance at Sisteron.

Its source is on the east side of the Col de la Bonette, in the Maritime Alps. It flows through Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée, Isola and Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée, and it flows into the Var near Utelle. The Guercha and the Vionène are its tributaries.

Its source is at an elevation of 2,819 metres (9,249 ft), in the south-western Alps (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), between the col d'Allos and the Trois Eveches mountain, south of Barcelonnette. It flows south-west through the following départements and towns:Alpes-de-Haute-Provence: Allos, Colmars, Saint-André-les-Alpes, Castellane Var: Vinon-sur-Verdon
