WAmethyst is a natural gas field in the Southern North Sea, about 30 miles (48 km) east of the Yorkshire coast. Gas lies in a Permian sandstone reservoir around 2,700 metres (8,900 ft) below the seabed. The gasfield is operated by BP.
WThe Anglia gas field, is a natural gas field in the United Kingdom's continental shelf of the Southern North Sea. It is located in blocks 48/18 and 48/19 about 60 km (37 mi) east of the Lincolnshire coast. The reservoir is located at a depth of approximately 8,500 feet (2,600 m) subsea. The field was discovered in February 1972. Detailed seismic and appraisal well work were conducted in 1984. The reservoir was estimated to have 235 billion cubic feet of gas in place.
WThe Armada gas field complex is a group of natural gas fields located in the Central North Sea 250 kilometres (160 mi) NE of Aberdeen, within the United Kingdom Continental Shelf. The field was operated by BG Group and is now operated by Shell. The complex consists of several fields developed via a central platform located in 88 metres (289 ft) of water. The Fleming and Hawkins fields were discovered in 1980 and the Drake and Seymour Fields in 1982. Development approval was granted in 1994 and production started in 1997. The gas is exported via the Central Area Transmission System through a link to the Everest gasfield. Oil is exported via the Forties oil field to Grangemouth. The fields had a maximum production rate of 450 million cubic feet per day and 24 thousand barrels per day.
WEast Knapton is a village in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. Until 1974 the village lay in the historic county boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
WThe Everest gasfield is located in the Central North Sea, 233 kilometres (145 mi) east of Aberdeen, Scotland. It lies in the United Kingdom Continental Shelf blocks 22/9, 22/10a and 22/14a. The gasfield was discovered by Amoco in 1982 with first gas produced in 1993. Until 2009, the field was operated by BP. As a result of assets' swap between BP and BG Group in 2009, BG Group became the largest stakeholder of field with 80.46% interest and it took over operatorship of the field. Other partners beside of BG Group are Amerada Hess, and Total. The 1.0134% interest, which was owned by ConocoPhillips, was acquired by BG Group in 2007. On 1 November 2017 Chrysaor announced they had acquired a 100 per cent equity interest in the Everest Field, together with interests in the Beryl, Buzzard, Elgin-Franklin, Erskine, Armada, J Block, Lomond and Schiehallion fields.
WThe Rhum Gas Field is located 205 miles (330 km) north-east of Aberdeen in 109 metres (350 ft) of water. Gas production and export began on 20 December 2005.
WTheddlethorpe Gas Terminal (TGT) is a former gas terminal on the Lincolnshire coast on Mablethorpe Road at Theddlethorpe St Helen close to Mablethorpe in East Lindsey in England. It is just off the A1031 and next door to a holiday camp and Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary.
