WDuluth də-LOOTH is a port city in the U.S. state of Minnesota and the county seat of St. Louis County. Duluth has a population of 85,618, making it Minnesota's fourth-largest city and the center of Minnesota's second largest metropolitan area, with a population of 278,799. Duluth forms a metropolitan area with neighboring Superior, Wisconsin; together, they are called the Twin Ports. The city is named for Daniel Greysolon, Sieur du Lhut, the area's first known European explorer.

WThe Duluth Ship Canal is an artificial canal cut through Minnesota Point, providing direct access to Duluth harbor from Lake Superior. Begun privately in 1871, it was put under federal supervision and maintenance several years later. It is still an important component of the harbor facilities.
WThe Episcopal Diocese of Duluth was a diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. The diocese was created as the Missionary District of Duluth in 1895 as a result of the division of the Diocese of Minnesota. The Missionary District was reconstituted as a diocese at its twelfth annual convocation on June 19, 1907. The diocese reunited with the Diocese of Minnesota in 1944. The former cathedral in Duluth was sold to a Lutheran church in 1956.

WSpirit Mountain is a ski area in Duluth, Minnesota. It was founded by the City of Duluth and was built in 1974. With a vertical elevation of approximately 700 feet (210 m), it is the second tallest ski hill in Minnesota. Between 2014 and 2020, the executive director was Brandy Ream.
