Brandish is an action role-playing video game by Nihon Falcom. Originally released in 1991 for the NEC PC-9801 and FM Towns, it was later ported to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and PC Engine CD-ROM² (TurboGrafx-CD) in 1994–1995, including an expanded re-release titled Brandish Renewal. The SNES version was published by Koei in Japan in 1994 and in North America in 1995.

Both a remake of Dragon Slayer and an emulated copy of the original game are included in the Falcom Classics collection for the Sega Saturn.

A Nintendo 3DS port, titled Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure, was announced on June 16, 2016 for release in North America on October 13, 2016 and Europe on October 27, 2016. The Nintendo 3DS version was released in Japan in November 2016.

It is a part of their larger The Legend of Heroes franchise and itself consists of several distinct story arcs, including Trails in the Sky and Trails of Cold Steel. The series began with the release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky in 2004. The series was not localized outside of Japan until the 2010s, with Xseed Games managing it until NIS America took over by 2019. Trails has been noted by critics for its emphasis on worldbuilding and character-driven narratives. In total, the series had sold over five million copies by late 2020.

Popful Mail: Magical Fantasy Adventure is a side-scrolling platform game. Popful Mail was developed by Nihon Falcom for the NEC PC-8801 computer in 1991 and for the PC-9801 in 1992. It was later ported to PC Engine CD-ROM by NEC Home Electronics and to the Sega CD by "Sega Falcom", an alliance of the two game companies Sega and Falcom. In 1994, Falcom themselves remade Popful Mail and released it on Super Famicom. SIMS Co., Ltd. translated the Sega CD version and Working Designs published it in North America in late 1994. The PC-8801, PC-9801 and PC Engine CD-ROM versions are for the most part similar to each other, but the Super Famicom and Sega CD versions differ significantly both from each other and from the previous versions.
