
Ache is a You've Got Foetus on Your Breath album first released in 1982 on Self Immolation Records. Thirsty Ear reissued the album as a CD in 1997 in the US. Both releases were limited editions: only 1,500 copies of the LP and 4,000 copies of the CD were produced. Ache, along with its predecessor, Deaf, was recorded in an 8-track studio.

Blow is a Foetus remix album, released on September 18, 2001, through Thirsty Ear. European label nois-o-lution issued a 2LP version in November of the same year. Blow contains remixes from Foetus' Flow.

Damp is a compilation album by experimental/industrial band Foetus, released in November 2006 by Ectopic Ents. Damp collects previously-unreleased material written since 2003, new recordings of rare Foetus material and tracks written by and/or featuring The The, Melvins, and Rotoskop.

Deaf is the debut album by J. G. Thirlwell's You've Got Foetus on Your Breath, released in 1981 on Thirlwell's own Self Immolation Records label. Deaf, along with its follow-up Ache, was recorded with an 8-track recorder.

Flow is a Foetus album released in 2001. It is also seen as a return to form for Foetus. The album was remixed as Blow.

Gash is a Foetus album released in 1995 by Sony/Columbia. Gash is the only Foetus album to appear on a major label and their most widely distributed, with releases in North America, Europe, and Japan. The album spent 10 weeks on the CMJ Radio Top 150, peaking at #48. Gash is Columbia Records #CK 66461.

Hide is an album by experimental artist Foetus, released on CD by Ectopic Ents on September 29, 2010. Initial copies included a 5″ x 5″ sticker of the front cover, signed by J. G. Thirlwell.

Hole is a Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel album released in September 1984. It was the first Foetus material released by Self Immolation through Some Bizzare. In 1995, Hole was given a US re-release by Thirsty Ear.

Limb is a Foetus compilation album, released on May 15, 2009 by Ectopic Ents. Limb collects out-of-print and previously unreleased instrumental tracks from the early days of Foetus. Limb is packaged with a DVD featuring Clément Tuffreau's NYC Foetus documentary about Thirlwell's life in New York, along with several live performances of Thirlwell's ensembles and commissioned music.

Love is a Foetus album released on CD by Ectopic Ents/Birdman Records in 2005. Initial copies include a DVD disc with additional content. It features a dramatic shift in tone and style compared to previous Foetus releases, being more atmospheric and emotional in tone.

Male is a live album by Foetus in Excelsis Corruptus Deluxe. It records the Foetus live performance of November 3, 1990 in Manhattan's famed CBGB nightclub. A film of this performance, also titled Male, was also released.

Null is a Foetus EP released in 1995 by Big Cat in the UK. Null acts as a De facto single for "Verklemmt," released on Gash. Promotional copies of Null were distributed by Sony/Columbia in the US, but the EP had no official US release. Null was later rereleased as half of the Null/Void double-CDEP set.

Ramrod is an EP by Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel released by Self Immolation/Some Bizzare in 1987.

Rife is a live album by Foetus Corruptus released in 1988. It is an official bootleg, initially released by J. G. Thirlwell with no record label credit. This album was released in three formats: a two-LP set on black vinyl, a two-LP picture disc set, and a CD. Rife is Self Immolation #RIFLE 1 and #RIFLEPIC 1 for the picture disc.

Sink is a Foetus Inc compilation album that was first released in 1989 on Self Immolation/Some Bizzare. It compiles rare and unreleased songs from various Foetus projects from 1981–1989. Many of the rare tracks on the album have been edited shorter than their original length.

Soak is the tenth studio album by Foetus, released on October 15, 2013 by Ectopic Ents. It acts as the satellite album for the 2010 album Hide.

Thaw is a Foetus Interruptus album released by Self Immolation/Some Bizzare in September 1988 and also released on Some Bizzare 1995, by Thirsty Ear. The track "English Faggot/Nothin Man" was inspired by a harassing message Thirlwell received on his answering machine.

Vein is a remix album Foetus, released on October 22, 2007 by Ectopic Ents. It contains remixes of songs from the studio album Love, including a b-side from the (not adam) EP.

Vice Squad Dick is a collaborative EP by Foetus and Chrome Cranks, released in 1994 by PCP Entertainment. The title track depicts a cartoonish distillation of the life of a detective and is a cover of a track that was allegedly recorded in 1979 by Dick Uranus.

York is an album by The Foetus Symphony Orchestra featuring Lydia Lunch, released in 1997 by Thirsty Ear Recordings. Unlike Foetus' other albums, York is a wholly collaborative work. A "travelogue and exploration of DUMBO ", York features J. G. Thirlwell as composer and conductor for a group of notable New York City musicians. The musicians, almost all of whom had worked with Thirlwell before, were encouraged to freely improvise on their parts. Lydia Lunch, a regular Thirlwell collaborator, narrates the proceedings.
