"Café del Mar" is a song first released in 1993 by the trance project Energy 52. It is named after the famous bar located in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain. Almost instantly recognisable by its distinct melody, its popularity is reflected in the countless remixes that have since been created as well as its being featured on hundreds of CD compilations. The main melody of "Café del Mar" is based on "Struggle for Pleasure" by Belgian composer Wim Mertens.

"Changed the Way You Kiss Me" is a song by British singer Example from his third studio album, Playing in the Shadows. It was released on 5 June 2011 as the album's lead single, after it had premiered on BBC Radio 1 as Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record in the World' on 24 March 2011. The song was written by Example with Michael Woods, who also produced it. An official remix featuring American rapper Ludacris was made available to mainstream radio in the United States on 1 May 2012.

"Control" is a song recorded by American actress and singer Traci Lords, from her debut studio album 1000 Fires (1995). It was released as the lead single from the album by Radioactive Records on December 20, 1994. The song was written by Lords, Wonder Schneider and Ben Watkins. Produced by Juno Reactor, "Control" is a techno song with ambiguous lyrics about a dominant female who nurses a broken heart of her lover. Lords later stated she initially wrote the song about a drug addiction.

"Dear Jessie" is a song by German trance singer Rollergirl. The chorus of the song with the same title by American singer-songwriter Madonna was used in this song. Rollergirl released it as the lead single in May 1999 from her debut album, Now I'm Singin'... And The Party Keeps On Rollin. The song reached number two in Denmark and was a top 10 hit in Norway.

"Don't Stop!" is a song by ATB with vocals by Yolanda Rivera which was a number 13 hit in his native Germany and reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart. The track was featured on many compilations. "Flash" is a song by Italian-French trance music act B.B.E.. It was released in January 1997 as the second single from their debut album, Games. As a representative of the short-lived dream trance sound, the song became a top 20 hit worldwide, most notably reaching number 6 in Spain and number 5 in the United Kingdom.

"Futsal Shuffle 2020", or simply titled "Futsal Shuffle" is a song by American rapper Lil Uzi Vert. It was released through Generation Now and Atlantic Records as the lead single from his second studio album, Eternal Atake on December 13, 2019. The song features three sound clips, including two of his interviews with Nardwuar during Breakout Winter Festival and Rolling Loud Festival in Vancouver, British Columbia and Miami, Florida, respectively, as well as from Tyler, the Creator's performance of "Boredom" at the 2019 Camp Flog Gnaw. The song debuted at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, outpeaking "XO Tour Llif3" as Vert's highest charting single on the chart as a solo artist. The song itself has also inspired a dance based on the song with the same title.

"I Turn to You" is a song by British singer-songwriter, Melanie C. It was released as the fourth single from her debut solo album, Northern Star. It was released on 7 August 2000 in the United Kingdom and became Melanie's second UK number-one single. It sold 120,000 copies in its first week, altogether selling 360,477 copies, making it the twenty-seventh best-seller of 2000 in the UK. "I Turn to You" also topped the Austrian Singles Chart, the Danish Singles Chart, the Dutch Top 40, the Swedish Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. The main single was released as the "Hex Hector Radio Mix", for which Hex Hector won the 2001 Grammy as Remixer of the Year.

The song remained in the top 40 for fourteen weeks and became the third-biggest-selling single of 2000 in Britain. It has sold over 700,000 copies in the UK as of October 2014.

"Komodo " is a song by Italian trance producer Mauro Picotto. It was released in July 2000 as the fourth single from his album, The Album. The song had a great success in many countries and reached the top 10 in Austria, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland.

"Loneliness" is a song by the German DJ Tomcraft. It was written by Ivan Matias and Andrea Martin, Thomas Bruckner and Eniac and produced by Eniac and Tomcraft. The song is based on an excerpt of Martin's 1999 single "Share the Love". "Loneliness" was released as a single in 2002 worldwide and on 28 April 2003 in the United Kingdom. The single peaked at number ten on the German Singles Chart and topped the UK Singles Chart.

"Love" is a song by the American singer Lana Del Rey. It was released on February 18, 2017, by Polydor Records and Interscope Records, as the lead single from her fifth studio album, Lust for Life (2017). The song was written and produced by Del Rey, Benny Blanco, Emile Haynie and Rick Nowels, with additional production by Kieron Menzies. Its release was first teased with promotional posters hung in Los Angeles on February 17, after which the release date was pushed up due to leaked versions of the song surfacing online the same day.

"Love is Leaving" is a 1997 song by English singer, songwriter, DJ, fashion designer and photographer Boy George. It was written by George and German DJ Mike Koglin, who also produced this track. The song was a club hit in Europe and peaked at number 3 in Italy. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Love is Leaving" reached number 61. Outside Europe, the song peaked at number 1 in Israel in March 1997, and at number 70 in Australia.

"Moving on Stereo" was the second single hit by French DJ Pakito, from his debut album Video. Released in August 2006, it followed "Living on Video", a number-one hit single in France, but was unable to duplicate the same huge sales and chartings, even if it met success in Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, and France where it reached the top ten. The song was written and the music composed by Julien Ranouil. The song contains a sample of "Guitar Spell" by DJ Sylvan from 1994.

"Offshore" is a song by British electronic music artist Chicane. It was released as his debut single from the album Far from the Maddening Crowds on 2 December 1996. The song reached number five in the United States on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart, number 12 in Ireland and number 14 in the United Kingdom.

"Operation Blade " is a happy hardcore song by Scottish electronic group Public Domain, written and produced by the group's three members: Mark Sherry, Alistair MacIsaac, and James Allan. It samples a remix of New Order's song "Confusion", which was featured in the 1998 superhero horror film Blade, the source of the track's title. "Operation Blade" is also based on the theme to the 1982 science-fiction film Blade Runner.

"The Other Side" is a single released on Paul van Dyk's second DJ mix album The Politics of Dancing 2. Paul van Dyk wrote the song in retort to the devastating tsunami which hit southeast Asia on 26 December 2004. Van Dyk believes it is important to recognise that many thousands of people were affected by this tragedy, and lost loved ones. "The Other Side" portrays the feeling of still being with a person, in one's thoughts, who has died. It expresses the faith and aspiration of seeing that person again on "the other side".

Pistolero is a single released by the trance band Juno Reactor taken from their fifth album Shango. The song opens with Spanish acoustic guitar and a female voice saying, "I hate robbing banks" followed by a blast of gun fire that introduces the Goa Trance beat. Pistolero was done in a collaboration between Ben Watkins and Steve Stevens, guitarist for Billy Idol. The song opened up an entirely new direction for Juno Reactor.

"La Primavera" is a song by the German DJ/production team Sash! featuring Patrizia Salvatore. It was released in March 1998 as the lead single from their album, Life Goes On. The single was a Top 5 hit in at least 6 countries.

"Protect Your Mind (Braveheart)" is a 1998 song recorded by Turkish-German trance music producer DJ Sakin & Friends featuring vocals by singer Janet Taylor. It peaked at No. 1 in Scotland and reached the top 5 in Denmark, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom. In 1999, the song was included on DJ Sakin's first and only album, Walk On Fire. "Protect Your Mind" was nominated to the 1999 Echo Awards for best dance single.

"ResuRection'" is a song by Russian trance group PPK. It was released in February 2001 as the lead single from their debut album Reload. The song was the first from a Russian act or USSR act to ever enter the charts in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart in December 2001 and the song was awarded a Silver certification by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for sales of over 200,000 copies. Elsewhere, the song hit the top 10 in Flemish Belgium, Ireland, and the Netherlands, while also charting in Australia, Walloon Belgium and Finland. In the United States, the song peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

"Right in the Night " is a song by German electronic music duo Jam & Spoon, released as the second single from their album Tripomatic Fairytales 2001. "Running Around Town" is a 1995 song by German artist Billie Ray Martin, the former lead singer of Electribe 101. It was released as the second single from her debut solo album, Deadline for My Memories. Written by Martin, it reached moderate success on the charts in Europe, peaking at number 19 in Finland and number 29 in the UK. It also managed to climb to number 3 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play, while it reached number 22 on the Billboard Dance Sales.

"Sanctuary" is a song by trance producer Gareth Emery featuring vocals by Lucy Saunders. It was released on 8 August 2010 by Emery's own record label Garuda. It was voted the 2nd biggest track of 2010 by listeners of Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance radio show and became the most played record of 2011 on US Sirius XM Radio dance station BPM.

"Saving Light" is a song by English trance producers Gareth Emery and Standerwick, featuring vocals from Haliene. Roxanne Emery, Haliene, Matthew Steeper, and Karra wrote the song. It premiered in June 2016, during the Electric Daisy Carnival music festival and was digitally released on 30 January 2017. "Saving Light" is an uplifting trance song with lyrics about standing up to bullying and supporting victims by being their "saving light". Monstercat released the song as part of an initiative called "Make Trance No. 1 Again". Their goal was to encourage fans to purchase "Saving Light" on Beatport to support Ditch the Label and get the song to the top of the Beatport charts; this was achieved on 16 February 2017.
