Tina Armstrong is a player character in the Dead or Alive fighting game franchise by Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo. She was introduced in the original Dead or Alive in 1996 as an American professional wrestler who uses the Dead or Alive fighting tournaments as a springboard to fame and fortune. In subsequent series appearances, she is indecisive about her career interests, much to the chagrin of her overprotective father, Bass Armstrong. Tina has appeared on official series merchandise in addition to the feature film DOA: Dead or Alive, and has received critical reception as one of the most iconic video-game blondes.

Dee Jay was based on real-life kickboxer Billy Blanks and has received mixed critical reception.

I-No is a character in Arc System Works's Guilty Gear video game series. She first appeared in the 2002 video game Guilty Gear X2 as a boss. In the series, I-No is a servant of That Man—the series' main antagonist. She fights with an electric guitar, and she also wears a sentient witch's hat that can fire projectiles.

Iori Yagami is a character from SNK's The King of Fighters video game series. The character first appeared in The King of Fighters '95 as the leader of the Rivals Team, as the initial enemy and later rival of Kyo Kusanagi. Iori is the heir of the Yagami clan, who use pyrokinetic powers and sealed the Orochi devil along with the Kusanagi and Yata clans. Iori suffers from a curse – "The Riot of the Blood"  – under which he becomes faster, stronger and wilder, exhibiting a deadly tendency to indiscriminately attack everyone in close proximity. In this state, Iori is commonly called "Wild Iori" or "Orochi Iori" . Aside from the main series, Iori appears in several other media series, including spin-offs, crossover video games and comic adaptations of the series.

One of the franchise's most popular characters, he debuted in the title Animal Crossing, and has appeared in every installment since. K.K.'s main role is as a musician who performs to the townsfolk, through live performances and purchasable in-game albums. He is based on Nintendo video game voice actor and composer Kazumi Totaka – his Japanese name "Totakeke" being a contraction of "Totaka K." – and has been said to be an animal caricature of Totaka.
