Yolande Elsa Maria Beekman was a British spy in World War II who served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force and the Special Operations Executive. She was a member of SOE's Musician circuit in occupied France during World War II where she operated as a wireless operator until arrested by the Gestapo. She was subsequently executed at the Dachau concentration camp.

René Carmille was a French military officer, civil servant, and member of the French Resistance. During World War II, in his office at the government's Demographics Department, he created the National Statistics Service and the individual code number which would become the social security number after liberation and is still used in France today. While there, Carmille sabotaged the Nazi census of France, thus saving tens of thousands of Jewish people from death camps.

Madeleine Zoe Damerment was a French spy in World War II who served in the French Resistance and Britain's Special Operations Executive. Damerment was to be a courier for SOE's Bricklayer circuit in France during World War II but was arrested upon arrival by the Gestapo, who knew she was coming. She was subsequently executed at the Dachau concentration camp.

Charles Delestraint was a French Army lieutenant general and member of the French Resistance during World War II. He also befriended Charles de Gaulle. Delestraint was killed by the Gestapo in 1945.

Victor Dillard (1897–1945) was a French Jesuit, a hero of the French Resistance during World War II, He attempted to organize the French compulsory workers deported to Germany, but was arrested and died in Dachau.

Éliane Sophie Plewman was a British agent of Special Operations Executive (SOE) and member of the French Resistance working in the "MONK circuit" in occupied France during World War II. She was involved in a number of highly successful sabotage missions but was arrested and tortured by the Gestapo, and later executed by the SS at Dachau Concentration Camp.

The Abbé Pierre de Porcaro was a French Roman Catholic priest who worked as an undercover minister during the Second World War. He was eventually captured by the Nazis and died in Dachau concentration camp.

Maurice Jacques Thédié was a French footballer who played for Red Star Amical Club and Amiens AC. He was part of the French national team, playing one match in 1925. A member of the French Resistance during the Second World War, Thédié was arrested and died on a train bound for Dachau concentration camp on 2 July 1944.
