
Guadalajara is a province of Spain, belonging to the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. As of 2013 it had a population of 257,723 people. The population of the province has grown in the last 10 years. It is located in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula.

The Piedra is a river in the Iberian System area, Spain. It is a tributary of the river Jalón. The waters have a high concentration of calcium carbonate which is deposited on plant life near the source, giving the river its name Río Piedra, which means 'stone river' in English.

The Torote is a river in Spain, tributary of the Henares. It has its source close to Picorroble hill, in the province of Guadalajara.
