PCL-09, exported as CS/SH1, is a self-propelled howitzer artillery system used by the military forces of the People's Republic of China. The armoured fighting vehicle is developed by Norinco and was first commissioned in 2009 with a 122mm gun-howitzer using projectiles with a range of 27 km and a firing rate of 6-8 rounds per minute. Mounted on a Shaanxi SX2150 6×6 truck, it is also equipped with the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System. It was used for the first time during a military exercise Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in 2010. China has sold the PCL-09 to countries like Rwanda without any political preconditions regarding how the weapons are to be used, as it does for other weapons systems it has in the arms market.

The PLL-05 is a Chinese self-propelled gun-mortar in use by Chinese mechanised infantry formations. Conceptually it is similar to the Russian 2S23 "Nona-SVK" three of which China purchased for evaluation; at one time it was reported that China would purchase 100 of the Russian vehicles however this failed to occur, nor does it appear that there was a formal transfer of technology to China. The Chinese system features a longer barreled weapon mounted on the Type 92 variant of the WZ551 armored personnel carrier.

The PLZ-07 self-propelled howitzer was first unveiled to the public during the military parade celebrating 60th anniversary of the PLA on 1 October 2009. The PLZ-07 was developed to replace the older Type 89, Type 85 and Type 70/70-1 122 mm self-propelled artillery systems.

It is based on Norinco's Type 89 (PLL01) 155mm/45-calibre towed gun-howitzer.

The Weishi family of multiple rocket launcher systems were mainly developed by Sichuan Aerospace Industry Corporation in Chengdu, China. The systems include the 302 mm (11.9 in) WS-1, the improved 302 mm (11.9 in) WS-1B, the 122 mm (4.8 in) WS-1E, the 400 mm (16 in) WS-2, as well as many other models. The WS-1 series weapon system did not enter PLA service and has order from Thailand. The WS-2 may finally see PLA service in the future. It's worth noticing that although sharing the same name, there are other developers for different models of Weishi series multiple rocket launchers (MRL) other than the primary developer SCAIC.
