WUSS Tombigbee (AOG-11) was a Patapsco-class gasoline tanker in service with the United States Navy from 1943 to 1972. She was then sold to Greece, where she served as Ariadni (A414) until 2003.

After eleven years in reserve, San Carlos was converted to oceanographic research ship USNS Josiah Willard Gibbs (T-AGOR-1)—named after American scientist Josiah Willard Gibbs—and placed in service as a non-commissioned ship of the Military Sea Transportation Service from 1958 to 1971. In December 1971, the ship was transferred to the Hellenic Navy as Hephaistos (A413), a motor torpedo boat tender. Hephaistos was struck from the rolls of the Hellenic Navy in April 1976.

Named for counties in Iowa and Virginia, she was the only U.S. Naval vessel to bear the name. Initially known only as LST-1076, the ship was deactivated following the war. Renamed Page County in 1955, the ship was reactivated in 1960 and saw service during the Vietnam War. Decommissioned in 1971, Page County was transferred to the Hellenic Navy and renamed Kriti. Her fate is unknown.
WUSS LSM-45 was a LSM-1-class medium landing ship built for the United States Navy during World War II. The ship also served as Ypoploiarchos Grigoropoulos (L161) in the Hellenic Navy from 1958 to 1993. She was the last known surviving LSM in its original configuration. Her last location before scrapping was Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. LSM-45 was donated to the Museum of the Marine by the now defunct Amphibious Ship Museum under the understanding that it would be put on display at the museum, and was towed to North Carolina in 2004 from Omaha, Nebraska. The museum decided in 2007 that the ship would not be a part of the museum and tried looking for another home for the ship. In 2009, there were reports that the Museum was considering scrapping or sinking the ship as an artificial reef, and she was scrapped sometime between 2010 and 2014.
WUSS Natchaug (AOG-54) was a Patapsco-class gasoline tanker in service with the United States Navy from 1945 to 1959. She was directly transferred to the Greek Navy as Arethousa (A-377). The ship served a total of about 47 years in military service. Decommissioned in 2003, she was sunk as a target in 2005.

WUSS Pelican (MHC-53) was the third Osprey-class coastal minehunter and the third ship in the Navy to bear the name of the bird. From 1 January 1997 on, Pelican was part of the Naval Reserve Force. In that role the ship was used as training platform for naval reservists. Both decommissioned and stricken from the Navy List on 16 March 2007, Pelican was transferred to the Hellenic Navy the same day. There she was recommissioned as Evniki.
