WThe Order of Aftab (Nishan-i-Aftab) was founded by Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar, the King of Persia, in February 1873, before his first visit to various European states. The order came in two classes, the first class restricted to female sovereigns or consorts of reigning rulers and the second class to princesses and ladies of high rank, and those deserving of special recognition or signs of conspicuous appreciation by the Shah. In 1967 during the reign of the Pahlavi dynasty the statues of the order had changed, there changes included the name to the Order of Aryamehr, the insignia and the eligibility of receiving the order.
WThe Order of the Crown was founded in 1913 by Shah Ahmad Shah Qajar before his coronation as the highest dynastical and state order. Until 1926 it existed in two classes. The 1st class had a collar reserved for the Shahanshah and the Crown-Prince. The Order was preserved in Iran after the fall of the Qajars. Until the reform of the Order in 1938/39 the sash was blue with thin green-white borders, but after the reform was corn-yellow with sky-blue edges.
WThe Imperial Order of the Lion and the Sun was instituted by Fat’h Ali Shah of the Qajar Dynasty in 1808 to honour foreign officials who had rendered distinguished services to Persia. In 1925, under the Pahlavi dynasty the Order continued as the Order of Homayoun with new insignia, though based on the Lion and Sun motif. This motif was used for centuries by the rulers of Persia, being formally adopted under Mohammad Shah.
WThe Nishan-e Aqdas was an Imperial Iranian Order founded in 1870 by the Qajar Shah of Iran Nassereddin. There were three classes, with two different styles for Iranians (Sardar) and foreigners (Nishan). The Order was dissolved upon the collapse of the Qajar dynasty.
WOrder of Courage or Bravery is an Iranian state general order established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990. The order has three classes. According to Article 14 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Courage awarded by President of Iran to recognize "courage, a high characteristic of human in achieving distinguished success" in one of the following:Volunteer to accomplish a difficult task which is critical for the country Accepting a serious state mission or a social duty which is accompanied by potential threats Opportune use of physical power and skills to reach a high goal
WOrder of Culture and Art is an Iranian state general order established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990 and modified on June 27, 2007. The order has three classes and awarded by President of Iran. According to Article 17 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Culture and Art is awarded to those who "facilitate theirs thinking, passions and emotions to express deep Islamic and humanitarian concepts and to spread culture" in one of the following ways:Disseminating rich Islamic culture and eliminating society from foreign decadent culture Expanding the theoretical and disciplinary foundations of religious education Expanding national culture and revitalizing valuable social traditions Expressing creativity and presenting exquisite works of art or literature Pay particular attention to the country's cultural, artistic or literary heritage, so as to be effective in its restoration, preservation and utilization Introducing, describing, explaining, critiquing and presenting one of the artistic or literary disciplines internationally Inventing a new style in one of the artistic or literary disciplines Promote a culture of sacrifice and martyrdom in the community Creating remarkable and valuable artworks to convey the ideals and values of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense to future generations
WThe Order of Freedom is one of the badges of honor in Iran, established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990. The order is awarded by President of Iran. According to the Article 4 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Freedom is awarded to persons who hold one of the first order of General or Expertise awards and continue to be qualified to serve the sacred aims of the Islamic system.
WThe Excellent Order of Independence is an Iranian state order, established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990. WThe Order of Islamic Revolution is the highest order of the honorary orders in the Islamic Republic of Iran, established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21, 1990. According to "Article 2" of the "Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders" of Iran, the "Order of Islamic Revolution" is one number for each presidential term which is being given to the President of Iran at the ceremony of the presidential inauguration.
WOrder of Mehr is one of the badges of honor in Iran, established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on September 13, 1994. According to "Article 18" of the "Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders" of Iran, in addition to the women can having other badges, the "Order of Mehr" due to honor the status and the position of women in the Islamic Republic of Iran, is awarded to women who are source of valuable works in one of the following ways:Constructive and active participation in social, economic and political affairs Introducing the exemplary of Muslim woman in society and trying to explain and promote its ideological and social foundations Practical presentation of the exemplary of excellent mother or spouse, especially among mothers and wives of martyrs, veterans and freedmans who with dedication in maintaining and strengthening the family, have provided outstanding service in cultural, educational, or research areas Expressing competence in the international arena in a way that honors the country and represents the woman personality in the Islamic Republic of Iran

According to Article 9 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran, the Order of Merit and Management is awarded to people who achieve "an exceptional success in management, distinguished activities, aiding the oppressed and deprived people and/or beneficiary use of utilities and/or offering exquisite ways".
