Alexandru Chiculiță is a retired Romanian sabre fencer. He competed at the 1984 and 1992 Olympics and won a team bronze medal in 1984. After retiring from competitions he worked as a fencing coach, and currently trains the sabre team of CS Dinamo București.

Mihai Claudiu Covaliu is a Romanian retired sabre fencer, Olympic champion in 2000 and world champion in 2005, and coach of the Romanian men's sabre team. He is also ex-president of the Romanian Fencing Federation and, from 2016, president of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee.

Tiberiu Dolniceanu is a Romanian sabre fencer, European champion in 2013 and bronze medal in the 2013 World championships. As part of Romania's sabre team, he won the team silver medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics and the team gold medal in the 2009 World Championships in Antalya.

Dan Constantin Irimiciuc is a retired Romanian sabre fencer. He won team silver medals at the 1974 and 1977 World Championships, and team bronze medals at the 1975 World Championships and 1976 Olympics. He was awarded the Romanian Order of "Sports Merit" in 1974 and 1976.

Corneliu "Cornel" Marin is a retired Romanian sabre fencer. He competed at the 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics and won team bronze medals in 1976 and 1984. He won three more team medals at the world championships in 1974–1977. In 1977 he was named Best Fencer of the Year in Romania.

Marin Mustață was a Romanian sabre fencer. He competed at the 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics and won team bronze medals in 1976 and 1984. After retiring from competition he worked as a fencing coach with Tractorul Brasov and the Romanian national team. He teamed with his cousin Cornel Marin who is also a sabre fencer.

Alexandru Nilca is a retired Romanian sabre fencer. He competed at the 1976 and 1980 Olympics and won a team bronze medal in 1976, placing fifth in 1980. He won two team silver medals at the world championships in 1974 and 1977.

Bianca Alexandru Pascu is a Romanian sabre fencer. She represented Romania at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where she competed in the women's individual sabre event.
