WDame Valerie Kasanita Adams is a New Zealand shot putter. She is a four-time World champion, four-time World Indoor champion, two-time Olympic, three-time Commonwealth Games champion and twice IAAF Continental Cup winner. She has a personal best throw of 21.24 metres outdoors and 20.54 m indoors. These marks are Oceanian, Commonwealth and New Zealand national records. She also holds the Oceanian junior record (18.93 m) and the Oceanian youth record (17.54 m), as well as the World Championships record, World Indoor Championships record and Commonwealth Games record.

She has achieved the status of her nation's most accomplished female golfer of modern times, being the first non-American to finish at the top of the LPGA money list as well as winning the Ladies European Tour (LET) Order of Merit a record seven times: in 1985, 1986, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2004 and 2006.

WDame Ruia Mereana Morrison is a retired New Zealand tennis player. She is Māori from the Te Arawa and Ngāti Tūwharetoa iwi (tribes). Morrison was the first New Zealand woman and the first Māori person to play at Wimbledon and reached the quarter-finals in 1957. She also won 13 national New Zealand tennis titles.
WDame Lois Joan Muir is a New Zealand netball coach and administrator, and a former representative netball and basketball player. Muir represented New Zealand in two sports, playing with the Tall Ferns from 1952 to 1962 and the Silver Ferns from 1960 to 1963. She later became head coach of the Silver Ferns for 15 years from 1974 to 1988.
WLady Mary Elizabeth Peters is a Northern Irish former athlete, best known as a competitor in the pentathlon and shot put. Peters was named as Lady Companion of the Order of the Garter on 27 February 2019. She was installed in St. George's Chapel, the chapel of the Order, on Garter Day, 17 June.
