
"Armada Latina'" is the fourth single from Cypress Hill's studio album, Rise Up. It features Cuban rapper Pitbull and Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony. It was released on March 2, 2010. The song samples the fourth portion of the 1969 Crosby, Stills, & Nash song "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes."

"Backyard Boogie" is the lead single released from Mack 10's second album, Based on a True Story. The song was produced by Bobby "DJ Bobcat" Ervin and mixed by Ant Banks.

"Bop Gun " is the third single from Ice Cube's fourth album, Lethal Injection. It samples the Funkadelic song "One Nation Under a Groove". It reached number six on the Hot Rap Singles chart and number 23 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart.

"Check Yo Self" is the third and final single from Ice Cube's third solo album The Predator. It was released on July 13, 1993, and features New York City rappers Das EFX. It topped both the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap charts while also reaching number 20 on the Hot 100 chart. The song retains two main versions, the original and a remix which utilizes the same beat as Grandmaster Flash's "The Message", titled "Check Yo Self ". The original mix includes a sample from the intro of the Beastie Boys' track "The New Style", which uses the phrase "check it" throughout the chorus.

"Down for My N's" is a song by C-Murder featuring Snoop Dogg and Magic from Dogg's fourth album, No Limit Top Dogg and C-Murder's Trapped in Crime. Kanye West included an interpolation of this song in his song "Blood on the Leaves", and Khia included an interpolation for her song "Fuck Dem Other Hoes" from her debut album. There are two edited versions of "Down for My N's"; one uses amended lyrics, for example "Touch them other Hittas cause I'm down for my Hittas", which is used on the radio and the other uses an gun sound effect and backmasking to censor swearing, which is on the clean version of the latter albums.

"Ghetto Fabulous" is the lead single released from Ras Kass second album, Rasassination. Produced by Stu-B-Doo, the song featured a verse from Dr. Dre and a chorus by Mack 10. Though "Ghetto Fabulous" had a more commercial sound to it than his previous singles, it was not a commercial success, only making it to 56 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. The video also features Ice-T.

"I Wanna Rock" is the third official single from American rapper, Snoop Dogg's tenth studio album, Malice n Wonderland. It was released digitally on iTunes on November 17, 2009, after the second single "That's Tha Homie". The song was produced by Scoop DeVille and mixed by Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg released it on a mixtape titled "I Wanna Rock" on November 23. The song was confirmed by BBC Radio 1 to be released in the UK on March 15, 2010 but is now listed as "Coming Soon".

"It Was a Good Day" is a song by American rapper Ice Cube. It was released as the second single from his third solo album, The Predator, on February 23, 1993. The song peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 27 on the UK Charts. On the Billboard Hot 100, the song peaked at No. 15, making it Ice Cube's highest-charting single on the chart to date. "It Was a Good Day" was ranked at No. 81 on the list of greatest rap songs of all time by About.com, No. 77 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the 90s, and No. 36 on Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time. In 2008, the song was ranked at No. 28 on VH1's 100 greatest hip-hop songs. References to the single were re-popularized when the "It Was a Good Day" internet meme became widely used around 2009.

"Let's Ride" is the first single from Canadian rapper Choclair's debut album, Ice Cold. Produced by Kardinal Offishall, the song features ad-libs by Saukrates. The song is well known for its catchy piano hook and chorus. Commercially, "Let's Ride" reached number 38 in Canada and number 37 on the US Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart.

"Nothin' But the Cavi Hit" is a single by Mack 10 and Tha Dogg Pound from the Rhyme & Reason soundtrack. It was produced by a Dogg Pound member, Dat Nigga Daz and Master P's "Is There a Heaven 4 a Gangsta?" served as the single's B-Side.

"Rise Up" is the second single from Cypress Hill's eighth studio album, Rise Up. It features guitarist Tom Morello. The song is very similar in style to Tom Morello's work with Rage Against the Machine.

"Soul on Ice" is the second single released from Ras Kass' debut album, Soul on Ice. Produced by Bird, "Soul on Ice" became Ras Kass' most successful single chartwise, gaining the most success on the Hot Rap Singles chart, where it peaked at 22. Diamond D of D.I.T.C. remixed the song.

"Straight Outta Compton" is a song by American hip hop group N.W.A. It was released on July 10, 1988 as the lead single from their debut album of the same name. It also appears on N.W.A's Greatest Hits with an extended mix and The Best of N.W.A: The Strength of Street Knowledge. It was voted number 19 on About.com's Top 100 Rap Songs, and is ranked number 6 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.

"That Tree" is a song by American rapper Snoop Dogg, featuring vocals from fellow American rapper Kid Cudi. It was released on March 12, 2010 as the second single from the reissue of Snoop Dogg's tenth studio album Malice n Wonderland (2009), titled More Malice (2010). The song was produced by Diplo and Paul Devro, who also participated in the band composition, along with the interpreters.

"Wet" is the official lead single from hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg's eleventh studio album Doggumentary. The original version was produced by the Cataracs. A remix of the song entitled "Sweat" was released by French DJ David Guetta on March 4, 2011.

"You Can Do It" is a hip-hop song by American rapper Ice Cube. It was released as the second single from the Next Friday soundtrack. The song features Ice Cube's Westside Connection bandmate Mack 10, as well as rapper Ms. Toi. "You Can Do It" later used as the lead single on Cube's sixth studio album, War & Peace Vol. 2 . The song also appears on his Greatest Hits and In the Movies compilations. It would also appear on the soundtrack for the film Save the Last Dance.

"You Know How We Do It" is the second single from Ice Cube's fourth studio album, Lethal Injection. It was released as a single on February 2, 1994. The song was a No. 30 hit on the Hot 100.
