W"Alley Cat", also known as "Alleycat" and "The Alley Cat," is a popular instrumental song made most famous by the Danish pianist and composer Bent Fabric, released in 1962. Fabric wrote the tune under the pseudonym Frank Björn.
W"April, april" is a song by Swedish singer Lill-Babs, which represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 1961, performed in Swedish.
W"Beatles", written by Sven Olov Bagge and Claes Bure, was the song that, performed by Swedish dansband Forbes, won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1977. The song's lyrics are about the popular 1960s British rock group the Beatles and include the phrase "Yeah, yeah, yeah" as an homage to the Beatles song "She Loves You". Forbes took the song to the United Kingdom to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 1977, with Anders Berglund as conductor. The audience cheered at the song, not unexpectedly since the contest took place in the United Kingdom, but the jury had another opinion. The song finished last, with only two points, from West Germany.
W"Boogieman Blues" is a song written and recorded by Swedish singer Owe Thörnqvist. The song was released as a digital download in Sweden on 25 February 2017 and peaked at number 74 on the Swedish Singles Chart. It is taking part in Melodifestivalen 2017, and qualified to the final from the third semi-final on 18 February 2017.
W"The Captain of Her Heart" is a song by the Swiss duo Double from their debut studio album, Blue (1985). The song is a ballad about a woman who stops waiting for her absent lover to return. The single was an international success, reaching No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, thus making Double the first Swiss act to reach the top 40 on the latter chart.
WClose is the second single from German synthpop group Camouflage's fourth album Bodega Bohemia, released in 1993. The song was remixed for single release, adding a much more radio-friendly drum and synth track to the mostly-acoustic album version.

It was performed in Danish by husband and wife duo Grethe and Jørgen Ingmann, representing Denmark. This was the first entry performed by a duo to win the contest and also the first Scandinavian win.
W"First Time" is a song recorded by Robin Beck for her second album, Trouble or Nothin'. Her first significant chart hit, it was released in 1988, and was originally recorded for a Coca-Cola commercial in 1987. It was initially released in the United States on January 31, 1988, and subsequently released as a single. The power ballad was released in the UK in October 1988 and climbed to No. 1 and spent three weeks there in November and December 1988, spending 14 weeks in total in the UK Singles Chart. The song additionally reached number one in Austria, Germany, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland.

W"Like a Yo-Yo" is a song by Italian singer Sabrina. This song was written and produced by Italian singer, songwriter, DJ and record producer Giorgio Moroder, and was released in February 1989, as the third and final single from the album, Super Sabrina. The song's B-sides "Doctors Orders" and "Sex" appeared on Sabrina's second studio album. "Like A Yo-Yo" was Sabrina's first collaboration with disco-legend Giorgio Moroder and peaked at number-one in Finland. Additionally it charted within the top 10 in Denmark and Spain. In the United Kingdom, the single reached number 72. For the single-release, the song was remixed by the English team of Stock/Aitken/Waterman for 7" and 12" use. SAW had been responsible for Sabrina's big success with "All Of Me". Strangely, Videogram only used the 12"-remix, while Carrere in France used both, but edited the 7"-version. Also, different picture-sleeves were prepared for the 7" and 12"-releases in Italy. To confuse things a bit, France used the Italian 12"-design on all formats.
W"Neighbours" is s song by German synthpop group Camouflage. It was the third single from their 1988 debut album Voices & Images. It was not released as a single in the US, where "That Smiling Face" was released later in 1988.
W"Never Can Say Goodbye" is a song written by Clifton Davis and originally recorded by The Jackson 5. The song was originally written and intended for the Supremes; however, Motown decided it would be better for the Jackson 5. It was the first single released from the group's 1971 album Maybe Tomorrow, and was one of the group's most successful records. It has been covered numerous times, most notably in 1974 by Gloria Gaynor and in 1987 by British pop group The Communards.
W"Once in a Lifetime" is a 1991 single by Gregorian from the album Sadisfaction. The song is sung by the Sisters of Oz. The singles were released on both CD format and vinyl in 7" and 12" versions. An exclusive remix named "Summer Mix" only appeared on the vinyl version and was never released on CD format.
W"Primaballerina" is a 1969 song performed in German by Swedish singer Siw Malmkvist and written by Hans Blum. It was the German entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1969. Malmkvist was the second of three female Scandinavian schlager artists to represent Germany in the contest in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the first being Norwegian Wenche Myhre in 1968 with "Ein Hoch der Liebe" and the third Danish Gitte Hænning with "Junger Tag" in 1973. Malmkvist had previously also represented her native Sweden in the 1960 contest with "Alla andra får varann".
W"Quark" is a punk song by Die Ärzte. It's the fourteenth track and the fourth single from their 1993 album Die Bestie in Menschengestalt. It's about a man, who can't handle the chattering of his consort. The single version criticises the gibberish of politicians. The single version is also on "Das Beste von kurz nach früher bis jetze".
W"So Sad" is the debut single recorded by German band Gregorian. It was written and produced by Frank Peterson, and is from the album Sadisfaction (1991), on which it appears as the third track. The song is composed of Gregorian chants using biblical verses while in the chorus a woman is asking Jesus Christ why she is so sad. In the music video, she first enters a church, then becomes a nun. The song was included on Gregorian's best of compilation titled Best of 1990–2010, released in 2011, on which it appears as the first track. It became a hit in France and Portugal.

W"That's the Way " is a song by the American group KC and the Sunshine Band from their self-titled second studio album. The single became the band's second #1 hit in the Billboard Hot 100, and it is one of the few chart-toppers in history to hit #1 on more than one occasion during a one-month period, as it did between November and December 1975. It topped the American pop chart for one week, and then was replaced by another disco song, "Fly, Robin, Fly" by Silver Convention. "That's the Way " returned to #1 for one more week after "Fly, Robin, Fly" completed three weeks at the top. "That's the Way " also spent one week at #1 in the soul singles chart. The song is in natural minor.
