WTakara Co., Ltd. (株式会社タカラ) was a Japanese toy company founded in 1955. In March 2006, the company merged with Tomy Co., Ltd. to form Takara Tomy. The Takara motto was 遊びは文化」("playing is culture").

WBeast Saga is a Japanese multi-media franchise by Takara Tomy that includes a dice game, manga series, an anime television series and a video game for the Nintendo 3DS. It is similar to Takara's earlier Battle Beasts toyline.
WThe toy line known as Billy Blastoff incorporated several versions of a four-inch-tall, plastic, child-faced adventurer produced by Eldon in the late 1960s and early 70s. The concept was licensed to Tomy by Eldon for distribution in Japan. Billy Blastoff was sometimes packaged as a deluxe Space Set with his friend Robbie Robot. Billy and Robbie could be purchased separately or packaged with equipment in different Action Sets. Vehicles made for the figures were powered by a gear beneath the figures' pack which also held "AA" batteries. The battery pack could also power several figure-held accessories such as a Radar Scope, Space Gun and underwater light via jack and corded plug.
WChoro-Q is a line of Japanese 3–4 cm pullback car toys produced by Takara. Known in North America as Penny Racers, they were introduced in late 1978 and have seen multiple revisions and successors since. Choro-Qs are stylized after real-world automobiles, with real rubber wheels and a pullback motor that makes them move. Each car has a coin slot at the back, where inserting a penny will make it perform a wheelie when the car is released.
WDaigunder is a Japanese anime television series about humans using robots in tournaments. Created by Aeon and Takara and animated by Brain's Base, the studio’s first television production, the series aired on TV Tokyo from April to December 2002. A series of Daigunder toys were produced that could interact with TV screens.
WThe Girls × Heroine series is a Japanese drama series produced by TV Tokyo, Dentsu, OLM, Inc. and created by Takashi Miike. Each season revolves around magical girls who fight against enemies. The series began on April 2, 2017, with Idol × Warrior Miracle Tunes!. Each series sells toys produced by Takara Tomy. The most recent season, Bittomo × Heroine Kirameki Powers!, began airing on July 11, 2021.
WMicroman was a science fiction toyline created, manufactured and marketed by Takara Co., Ltd. from 1974 to 1984 as well as from 1998 to 2007. The Microman line was a series of 3.75-inch-tall (9.5 cm) action figures with accompanying vehicles, robots, playsets and accessories. Unlike other toylines at the time, Microman figures were marketed as being the "actual" size of cyborg beings called "Micros" that hailed from a fictional planet known as "Micro Earth" and disguised themselves as action figures while on planet Earth.

It was expanded into a battery-operated electric toy train system in October 1961. Plarail is not compatible with most other brands of model railway, although as it has a similar rail gauge to the wooden toy train systems, rolling stock may run on both systems to some degree.
WPop-up Pirate is a popular luck-based game for children manufactured by Tomy. It originated in Japan in 1975 under the name Kurohige Kiki Ippatsu and has seen many iterations over the years.
WScrewball Scramble is a toy made by Tomy that involves guiding a 14-millimeter-diameter chrome steel ball bearing around an obstacle course. A player guides the ball by using various buttons, dials and levers that affect parts of the course. If a mistake is made a player must start again. The aim of the game is to complete the course as fast as possible. It takes no batteries and is recommended for children five and above. The toy was popular during the 1980s, and is still available today.
WShinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion is a Japanese toy franchise created by Takara Tomy, in association with the Japan Railways Group. It is a spin-off of the long-running Plarail model train franchise, with the toys first launched back at March 16, 2015. An anime adaptation by OLM, Inc. aired in all JNN stations in Japan from January 6, 2018 to June 29, 2019. A new anime titled Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z started airing on April 9, 2021 on TV Tokyo.

This series marks the beginning as well as an end of a program franchise dubbed the Tomica Hero Series. The Tomica Hero story was concluded in the special stage production Nissan Haul Special Live Stage FINAL that featured the return of Obuchi, a new R4, and the return of the original R4.
WTomica Hero: Rescue Force is a Japanese tokusatsu television series that began airing April 5, 2008, on TV Aichi. It is the first Tomica Hero series based on Takara Tomy's Tomica toy car line. The characters use Tomica's Super Tools and Super Vehicles to help save people from Super-Disasters and battle the evil causing them. It is the second tokusatsu series that Takara Tomy has been involved in following Madan Senki Ryukendo. It is directed by Masato Tsujino , and written by Shinichi Inotsume and Hiroyuki Kawasaki , the same team behind Ryukendo. A film for Tomica Hero: Rescue Force was released in December 2008.

It is directed by Shinji Ushiro and written by Yuka Yamada with character designs done by Yuko Inoue. It began airing on all TXN stations in Japan on April 5, 2020.
WThe Tomy Tutor, originally sold in Japan as the Pyūta (ぴゅう太) and in the UK as the Grandstand Tutor, is a home computer produced by the Japanese toymaker Tomy. It was architecturally similar, but not identical, to the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, and used a similar Texas Instruments 16-bit CPU. The computer was launched in Japan in 1982, and in the UK and the United States in the next year.
WWan Wan Celeb Soreyuke! Tetsunoshin is a 2006 Japanese anime television series created by Hiroto Ishikawa and directed by Kiyoshi Fukumoto. The series is animated by Studio Comet, with the series written by Takashi Yamada, who later worked on HeartCatch PreCure! and character designs both done by Shuichi Seki and Shida Tadashi. The series first premiered on TV Aichi and TV Tokyo from January 7 to December 30, 2006 with a total of 51 episodes.
