Hotstar is an Indian digital and mobile entertainment platform launched in February 2015 by Star India. This platform is owned by The Walt Disney Company. It provides streaming media and video-on-demand online.

Aarya is an Indian Hindi-language crime drama web series on Disney+ Hotstar, co-created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, who also directed the series, with Vinod Rawat, serving as the co-director. Produced by Madhvani under the banner Ram Madhvani Films, along with Endemol Shine Group, it stars Sushmita Sen in the titular role and is based on the Dutch drama series Penoza. The series is about Aarya, an independent woman who seeks to protect her family and joins a mafia gang in order to get revenge for her husband's murder.

As I'm Suffering from Kadhal is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy web series created, directed and written by Balaji Mohan. Set in urban Chennai, it narrates the story of three uniquely different young couples and a young divorced father and his 8-year-old daughter, and their quirky take on the varied aspects of modern-day love. The principal characters of the series include Sunder Ramu, Yuvina Parthavi, Sananth, Sanchana Natarajan, Dhanya Balakrishna, Balaji Mohan, Nakshathra Nagesh and Abhishek Joseph George. The ten-episode series was released on 16 June 2017 by Hotstar, and opened to positive reception from audiences. The series was renewed for a second season.

City of Dreams is an Indian series by Nagesh Kukunoor which is available on Hotstar on its new label Hotstar Specials from 3 May 2019. It is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor starring Atul Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Eijaz Khan ,Siddharth Chandekar and Adinath Kothare. Music is composed my Tapas Relia.

Criminal Justice is an Indian Hindi-language crime thriller legal drama web series for Hotstar Specials, based on the 2008 British television series of the same name, written by Shridhar Raghavan and was directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Vishal Furia. Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Jackie Shroff, Anupriya Goenka and Mita Vashisht in lead roles, the storyline follows life of individuals on a gut wrenching journey through the criminal justice system.

Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors is an Indian Hindi-language legal drama web series for Hotstar Specials written by Apurva Asrani and directed by Rohan Sippy and Arjun Mukerjee. The series stars Pankaj Tripathi, Kirti Kulhari, Khushboo Atre and Jisshu Sengupta, and was released through Disney+ Hotstar on 24 December 2020.

Grahan is an Indian Hindi crime drama streaming web television series created by Shailendra Kumar Jha and directed by Ranjan Chandel for Hotstar based on the book Chaurasi by Satya Vyas. The series stars Pawan Malhotra, Zoya Hussain, Anshumaan Pushkar and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. The series was premiered on Hotstar on June 24, 2021.

Hostages is an Indian Hindi-language crime thriller web series for Hotstar Specials, which is an official adaptation of an Israeli series of the same name. Written by Nisarg Mehta, Shiva Bajpai and Mayukh Ghosh, the series is directed by Sudhir Mishra. Starring Tisca Chopra, Ronit Roy, Parvin Dabas, Aashim Gulati, Mohan Kapoor, Dalip Tahil, with Malhaar Rathod, Sharad Joshi, Aashim Gulati, Surya Sharma and Anangsha Biswas in supporting roles, the series is about, a renowned surgeon who is scheduled for a routine operation on the chief minister was ordered to assassinate him in the process, in order to save family being captivated.

Hundred is an Indian action comedy series starring Lara Dutta and Rinku Rajguru in lead roles which is directed by Ruchi Narain, Ashutosh Shah and Taher Shabbir streaming from April 25, 2020 on Hotstar's label Hotstar Specials.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? is an Indian Hindi-language romantic drama television series that aired on Star Plus from 6 June 2011 to 30 November 2012. Produced by Gul Khan under 4 Lions Films, it starred Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani.

Live Telecast is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language horror thriller web series written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and featuring Kajal Aggarwal, Vaibhav Reddy, Anandhi, Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, Daniel Annie Pope and Priyanka Nair in the lead roles. The web series is set in the backdrop of 2005 and the title card also portrays a diary indicating the year 2005. It was premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 12 February 2021.

MasterChef India is an Indian Hindi-language competitive cooking reality show based on MasterChef Australia and is part of MasterChef India. Produced by Endemol Shine, it premiered on 16 October 2010 on Star Plus.

November Story is an Indian Tamil-language crime thriller web series for Hotstar Specials, directed by Indhra Subramanian. Produced by Vikatan Televistas the series stars Tamannaah in the lead role along with Pasupathy M., G. M. Kumar and Namita Krishnamurthy. The series is a classic murder mystery where the quest to find the truth behind the crime unveils a series of hidden truths. It was released on Disney+ Hotstar on 20 May 2021.

The Office is an Indian television sitcom streaming on Hotstar. It is an adaptation of the original BBC series of the same name, although it follows the American remake more closely. It was co-produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India for Hotstar's new label Hotstar Specials.

OK Computer is an Indian absurdist philosophical science fiction comedy television series on Disney+ Hotstar created and directed by Pooja Shetty and Neil Pagedar, who also wrote the script along with Anand Gandhi. Gandhi and his team also produced the series through the studio Memesys Culture Lab. The series stars Radhika Apte, Vijay Varma, Rasika Dugal, Jackie Shroff, Kani Kusruti, and Ullas Mohan in the lead roles and began streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 26 March 2021.

On Air With AIB was an Indian web television satire show created by All India Bakchod on Star India's digital platform Hotstar. It aired between 2015 and 2018. It was modeled after The Daily Show, SNL, and Last Week Tonight. The first season was replayed on Star Plus and World on the weekends. Seasons two and three were Hotstar digital exclusives, and shorter segments were uploaded on the AIB YouTube channel. The show was produced by Only Much Louder, a Mumbai based entertainment company and AIB's former management, and was cancelled in its third season due to two separate instances of sexual misconduct leveled against the group's co-founders Tanmay Bhat and Gursimranjeet Singh Khamba. The opening theme "Tragedy Mein Comedy", is written, and performed, by Mumbai-based MC and producer Naezy. The track is produced by the production duo StunnahSezBeatz. All studio episodes were shot in Mumbai.

Out of Love is an Indian series based on Doctor Foster by Mike Bartlett adapted by Hotstar for its label Hotstar Specials. It is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Aijaz Khan starring Rasika Dugal and Purab Kohli in lead roles. It premiered on Hotstar from 22 November 2019. The series was renewed for a season 2 of which the first two of five episodes aired on 30 April 2021 with the final episode being aired on 21 May 2021.

PariWar is an Indian comedy series created for Disney+ Hotstar by Arre Studios starring Gajraj Rao, Ranvir Shorey, Yashpal Sharma, Sadiya Siddiqui, Nidhi Singh and Vijay Raaz. The series was premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on September 23, 2020.

Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil is an Indian musical-romantic series which originally premiered on 29 June 2015 on Star Plus as a television program and ran through to 26 September 2015 before it moved to digital platform Hotstar from 28 September 2015 till 18 November 2015. The series follows the Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings, who returned to the 2018 edition of the IPL after serving a two-year ban for allegedly being involved in the 2013 spot-fixing scandal.

Special OPS is an Indian Hindi-language action espionage thriller web series for Hotstar Specials, created and directed by Neeraj Pandey, with Shivam Nair serving the credits for co-direction. Pandey also produced the series under his Friday Storytellers, a division of his production house, for providing content to the digital medium. It stars Kay Kay Menon as Himmat Singh, a member of Research and Analysis Wing, forms a team of five agents, in order to track down a person, who is the mastermind of the terror attacks which took place in India.

Super V is an Indian animated television series loosely based on Virat Kohli and was created by Harman Baweja for Star India. It was launched on multiple Star Network and Disney India's channels from 5 November 2019.

Tanhaiyan(English: Solitude) is an exclusive Hotstar originals romantic web series which was released as Valentine's Day special on the online streaming platform Hotstar. It stars Barun Sobti and Surbhi Jyoti in lead roles. The series included 9 episodes of about 20 minutes each. It was produced by 4 Lions Films and distributed by Star India.

The Empire is an Indian Hindustani-language historical fiction period drama streaming television series created by Nikkhil Advani and directed by Mitakshara Kumar based on the novel series Empire of the Moghul by Alex Rutherford for Disney+ Hotstar. The series was premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 27 August 2021.

Unheard is an Indian Telugu-language historical fiction drama streaming television series created and directed by Aditya K. V. for Disney+ Hotstar. The series has an ensemble cast of Srinivas Avasarala, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Ajay, Baladitya, Chandini Chowdary, and Ananda Chakrapani. The series was premiered on 17 September 2021.
