
The Ashok Leyland STiLE was a minivan manufactured by Ashok Leyland and was a rebadged Nissan NV200 produced under license. The vehicle was unveiled during the 2012 Auto Expo and was launched in July 2013.
The Chevrolet Adra is a concept subcompact SUV unveiled in Auto Expo 2014 by Chevrolet. The car was designed by General Motors India Private Limited in their Bangalore facility. Production of the Adra was going to be in 2016 or 2017 as an India-only subcompact SUV, but production was cancelled as Chevrolet sales were declining in India, leading to Chevrolet pulling out of the Indian market, along with South Africa, in 2017.

The Eicher Polaris Multix was a personal utility vehicle manufactured by Eicher Motors and Polaris India. The vehicle was announced in June 2015, and the first vehicle was delivered on 26 August 2015. Multix is promoted by its manufacturer as "India's first personal utility vehicle", able to be used as a people carrier, a cargo carrier and also a power generator.

The Fiat 124 is a small family car manufactured and marketed by Italian company Fiat between 1966 and 1974. The saloon superseded the Fiat 1300 and was the basis for several variants including a station wagon, a four-seater coupé, a two-seater convertible and a lengthened and more luxurious version, the 125, launched in early 1967.

The Fiat 1100 is a small family car produced from 1953 to 1969 by the Italian manufacturer Fiat. It was an all-new unibody replacement for the Fiat 1100 E, which descended from the pre-war, body-on-frame Fiat 508 C Balilla 1100. The 1100 was changed steadily and gradually until being replaced by the new Fiat 128 in 1969. There were also a series of light commercial versions of the 1100 built, with later models called the Fiat 1100T, which remained in production until 1971. The Fiat 1100 D also found a long life in India, where Premier Automobiles continued to build the car until the end of 2000.

The Fiat Grande Punto is a supermini car produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat from 2005 to 2018. It is the third generation in the series of the Fiat Punto, and was announced in August 2005, and launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Fiat Linea is a compact sedan released on 26 March 2007 at the Tofaş plant in Bursa, Turkey, by the Italian automaker Fiat as a world car in developing countries. It is based on the current Fiat Grande Punto platform. The Linea was designed by Fiat Style Centre and co-developed by Tofaş and Fiat do Brasil. Production in Turkey ended in 2016.

The Fiat Palio is a supermini car which was produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat from 1996 until 2017. It is a world car, developed by Fiat Automóveis and aimed at developing countries. It has been produced in various countries worldwide, and its platform was also used in the Siena sedan, the Palio Weekend station wagon, the Palio Adventure crossover and the Strada light pick-up truck.

The Fiat Siena is a subcompact car produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat since 1996. It is the four-door sedan version of the Fiat Palio, a supermini car especially designed for developing countries. It was introduced for the first time in South America, and was produced in various countries worldwide. Later, in 2002, a similar car based on the same platform was developed for the European market, the Fiat Albea. It replaced the Siena in these European markets, such as Poland, where the original model was previously sold.

The Fiat Uno is a front-engine, front-drive, four-passenger supermini manufactured and marketed by Fiat. Launched in 1983, the Uno was produced over a single generation in three and five-door hatchback body styles until 1995 in Europe — and until 1 January 2014, in Brazil. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign, the Uno strongly recalled the high-roof, up-right packaging of Giugiaro's 1978 Lancia Megagamma concept, in a smaller configuration.

Force Gurkha is an compact crossover SUV produced by Indian manufacturer Force Motors.

The Trax is a series of "Multi Utility Vehicles" (MUVs) built by Force Motors in Pune, India. There has also been an SUV version called the Gama, especially aimed at private buyers, while the vehicle also receives many additional names such as Cruiser, Gurkha, and Judo.
The Force One was an SUV manufactured by Force Motors, the maker of Traveller minibuses and the Trax utility vehicles in India. The company entered the SUV segment for the first time.

The Hindustan Ambassador was an automobile manufactured by Hindustan Motors of India, with production from 1958 to 2014 with improvements and changes over its production lifetime. The Ambassador was based on the Morris Oxford series III model, first made by Morris Motors Limited at Cowley, Oxford in the United Kingdom from 1956 to 1959.

The Hindustan Contessa was a model of car which was manufactured by Hindustan Motors (HM) of India from 1984 to 2002. It was based on the Vauxhall VX Series of 1976 to 1978, itself a development of the Vauxhall Victor FE. When introduced in 1983, it was one of the few Indian manufactured luxury cars in the market. One of its few indigenous competitors was the short-lived Standard 2000 which was based on the Rover SD1 and the Premier 118 NE was based on Fiat 124. The Contessa was a popular choice amongst government officials.

The Honda Amaze is a 4-door subcompact sedan produced by Honda slotted below the City. It is the sedan version of the Brio hatchback for the first-generation model and followed the same design and architecture with it, while the second-generation model is built on its own platform. Honda launched the Amaze in India in April 2013 and was developed at Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. located in Bangkok, Thailand. The Amaze is available in petrol and diesel engine. It is the smallest sedan in Honda's line-up.

The Hyundai Eon is a city car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai. It was launched on 13 October 2011 in India, March 2012 in the Philippines, June 2012 in Vietnam, and June 2014 in Sri Lanka. It was being also sold in Honduras, Nepal, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Chile, Peru, Panama, and Colombia and discontinued in India and other markets in the year 2019. It is also called the Hyundai Atos Eon in several markets.

The Hyundai i10 is a city car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai since 2007. It replaced the Hyundai Atos in the model line-up, and was initially available only as a five-door hatchback body style. The third generation i10 was unveiled in India on 7 August 2019 and launched on 20 August 2019, offered in 10 variants across petrol and diesel engines as well as manual and automatic transmissions. There is also a sedan derivative, the Hyundai Aura.

The Hyundai Venue is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai. Derived from the platform of the Accent, it is currently Hyundai's smallest crossover globally. The Venue debuted at the 2019 New York International Auto Show. The Venue fits below the Kona or Creta, and above the Casper in Hyundai's international lineup.

The Mahindra Armada was a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and multiutility vehicle (MUV) based on the Jeep. It was produced in India from 1993 until 2001. As of 1998 it was complemented by the more luxurious "Armada Grand"; both were replaced by the Mahindra Maxx in 2001. The Armada, the Grand, and the Bolero were all intended for urban market segments where Mahindra had hitherto been underrepresented.

The Mahindra Bolero is a 7/9 seater SUV produced by Mahindra & Mahindra.

The Mahindra e2o, previously Reva NXR, is an urban electric car hatchback manufactured by Mahindra Reva or Reva Electric Vehicles in 2013–2017. The e2o is the successor of the REVAi and was developed using Reva's technology, and has a range of 120 km (75 mi).

The Mahindra e2o Plus was a 5-door, 4-seater electric city car produced between 2016 and 2019 by Mahindra Electric for the Indian market. Its front fascia styling was similar to that of its smaller predecessor, the Mahindra e2o. Unlike its predecessor, it was not sold in the United Kingdom.

The Mahindra XUV300 is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra. It is based on the X100 platform of SsangYong Tivoli and has been sold in Indian market since February 2019. Mahindra slotted it in the segment along with their TUV300 to rival the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and the Ford Ecosport.

The Premier Padmini was a four-seat saloon manufactured in India from 1964 to 2000 by Premier Automobiles Limited, a division of the Walchand Group, under license from Fiat and marketed initially as the Fiat 1100 Delight — and from 1974 as the Premier Padmini. The Padmini's primary competitors in the Indian market were the Hindustan Ambassador and Standard Herald. This famous car ruled the Indian car market and its popularity peaked during 1970s and 80s. Many celebrities of the time including Rajnikanth, Mammootty, Aamir Khan owned a Premier Padmini during its prime years. Known colloquially as the Pad, or Fiat, the Padmini is named after a 14th-century Rajput princess. Padmini translates to "she who sits on the lotus" and refers to the Goddess Lakshmi. It was also a common name for girls in India at the time.

The REVAi, known as G-Wiz in the United Kingdom, is a small micro electric car, made by the Indian manufacturer Reva Electric Car Company between 2001 and 2012. By late 2013 Reva had sold about 4,600 vehicles worldwide, in 26 countries. Sales in the United Kingdom, its main market, and was replaced by the Mahindra e2o.
The Škoda Rapid is a subcompact sedan produced by Škoda India, the subsidiary of the Czech manufacturer Škoda Auto, exclusively for the Indian market, introduced in November 2011. It features a similar front end design with the second generation of the Škoda Fabia, but is not directly related to it, the Rapid being based on the newer PQ25 platform of the Volkswagen Group.

The Kia Sonet is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Kia since 2020. The Sonet slots below the Seltos and is closely related to the similarly sized sibling Hyundai Venue. It is developed for the Indian market and is solely manufactured in India.

The Suzuki Dzire is a subcompact sedan made by Suzuki for the Indian market since 2008. It was developed as a sedan variation of the Swift hatchback.

The Tata Indica is a supermini car launched by the Indian manufacturer Tata Motors in 1998. It was the first indian hatchback with diesel engine. It was the first passenger hatchback from Tata Motors, with previous models being station wagons and SUVs. Indica is also considered to have been one of India's indigenously developed passenger cars, though not the very first. As of August 2008, more than 910,000 units had been produced and the platform had spawned close to 1.2 million vehicles. Annual sales of Indica were as high as 144,690 units in 2006–07. As of July 2009, monthly sales of Indica were around 8000 units. The models were also exported to European and African countries from late 2004. The car was discontinued in April 2018.

The Volkswagen Vento is a subcompact car produced by Volkswagen India, Volkswagen Russia and Volkswagen South Africa, the subsidiary of the German manufacturer Volkswagen, since 2010. It is essentially a three-box Volkswagen Polo with a stretched wheelbase and has been developed especially for some markets. The car is sold under the Vento name in India, Malaysia, Brunei and Mexico. In Thailand, South Africa, Argentina, Russia, Jordan, Tunisia and the UAE it is sold as the Volkswagen Polo Sedan. The word Vento means 'wind' in both Italian and Portuguese. It is also known as the Volkswagen Polo Notch in the Philippines.
