Big Hit Music is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2005 by Bang Si-hyuk. It was rebranded as Big Hit Music by its parent company Hybe Corporation, formerly Big Hit Entertainment Co. Ltd., in March 2021. As of that date, the company manages soloist Lee Hyun, and boy groups BTS and TXT—it is formerly home to soloist Lim Jeong-hee, and groups 8Eight, 2AM, and Glam.

Blacksmith is a music management company and a record label founded by Harlem born Corey Smyth and Talib Kweli of Black Star. Signees include Jean Grae, Strong Arm Steady and Idle Warship and Kweli has stated he hopes to sign Camp Lo and had expressed interest in Rakim. Talib Kweli announced that there will be a 'BlackSmith TV' where people will get information about the label. The label was originally distributed through Warner Bros. Records but split in December 2008. Talib did confirm to AllHipHop.com that Warner Bros. would still distribute Reflection Eternal & Talib Kweli projects but not any other Blacksmith acts. It's now believed that the label has distribution through Element 9/Fontana with Strong Arm Steady latest project and Idle Warship's upcoming debut album said to have distribution through them. As of 2012 the label is defunct and was disbanded after Kweli's manager decided to focus the Blacksmith brand elsewhere rather than the label. Blacksmith management is currently home to artists such as Chad Hugo, and Vince Staples, among others.

The genre on the label was mostly popularized by Dillon Francis after collaborating with Diplo on Francis's 2012 track "Que Que". The label is also known for its series of concerts in major cities known as the Mad Decent Block Party.

Mermaid Records is a Copenhagen, Denmark based record label, and a sublabel of Sony Music Entertainment Denmark. The company was started as an independent record label by Mik Christensen and Nick Foss in 2005. The label publishes distinguished Danish artists.

MySpace Records was a record label founded in 2005 to sign artists who appeared on the social networking site Myspace. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of Myspace, operating as a joint-venture between MySpace and Interscope Records. Distribution is contracted to Universal Music Group's Fontana Distribution, with manufacturing and external marketing by Universal's Interscope.

Organized Nature is a record label founded in the spring of 2005 by San Francisco DJs Gabriel & Dresden. The label is UK based via Gabriel & Dresden's management company and Plastic Fantastic Label Management.

Roc-La-Familia was an American record label founded by Shawn "JAY-Z" Carter. This sub-label focused on signing international artists, including reggaeton artists, much like Bad Boy Latino. "OG" Juan Perez was appointed the president of the label and Cipha Sounds was the senior vice president. Roc La Familia was an extension of Roc-A-Fella Records and headquartered in New York City. Roc La Familia featured a broad array of artists encompassing such musical genres as Latin hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, pop, rock and more. The first signee to the label was Houston based rapper Aztek Escobar. The only albums released from the label came from famed artists Hector "El Father", Dimitri "El Boss", N.O.R.E.. Roc La Familia has since folded. The whole staff has reportedly been dismissed. A number of artists, such as N.O.R.E. have been complaining of the lack of promotion for some time. They plan on releasing a greatest hits CD, which will allegedly fulfill a contractual obligation with Def Jam. It has been reported that Roc La Familia will not be re-established.

Simian Records was a record label founded by actor Elijah Wood in 2005 and incorporated in the state of California on May 10, 2007. The label's first album, New Magnetic Wonder by The Apples in Stereo, was released on February 6, 2007. It was co-released and distributed through Yep Roc Records, Elephant 6 and Redeye Distribution. The corporation was dissolved on August 12, 2015. The corporation identifier was C2998232, Simian Records.
