The series is about two sixteen-year-old teenagers, Gu Hai and Bai Luo Yin, who despite their social differences and personal history forge a close love relationship. Starring Huang Jingyu and Xu Weizhou in their television debut, it premiered on January 29, 2016, and aired for three episodes weekly until February 23, 2016 when it was banned by Chinese authorities. The series' groundbreaking success and its subsequent ban brought the attention to the taboo topic of homosexuality in mainland China. The series has since developed a cult following.

Another Me is a 2019 Chinese television series starring Shen Yue, Chen Duling, Xiong Ziqi and Zou Tingwei. It is based on the 2016 film Soul Mate which is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Anni Baobei. The series aired on iQiyi from July 22 to September 4, 2019.

The Lost Tomb is a 2015 Chinese streaming television series based on the internet novel Daomu Biji. The series was originally intended to have 8 seasons filmed over a period of 8 years but only three seasons were produced as of 2020. The first season premiered on iQiyi on 12 June 2015.

Winter Begonia is a 2020 Chinese television series starring Huang Xiaoming, Yin Zheng, and Charmaine Sheh, based on Shui Ru Tian Er's BL web novel of the same name. It aired exclusively on iQiyi and tells the story of the close relationship between a shrewd businessman and a Peking opera genius right before the World War II. While the original web novel depicted the relationship between the two main men as romantic, the adaptation changed this depiction into a "bromance".

Youth With You, also known by its Chinese title Qīng Chūn Yǒu Nǐ or simply QCYN, is a 2019 Chinese male group survival show that premiered on January 21, 2019 on iQiyi. Originally titled as Idol Producer 2, it is the second edition of the 2018 male competition show Idol Producer, and the first edition of the survival show Youth With You. It is presented by Lay Zhang, with Li Ronghao, Jolin Tsai, MC Jin, The8, and After Journey serving as the coaches. The show brought together 100 trainees from different entertainment agencies, and only nine of all trainees were selected to debut through viewers' votes. On April 6, 2019, the final nine contestants debuted as UNINE.

Youth With You Season 2, is a Chinese girl group elimination reality show, which premiered on March 12, 2020 on video platform iQiyi. The show is presented by Cai Xukun with Lalisa Manoban, Jony J and Ella Chen serving as the mentors. The show first introduces 109 female trainees from different companies, who are being voted on by viewers. The Top 9 trainees with the most votes in the final episode get to debut in the Chinese girl group THE9.

Youth With You 3 is a 2021 Chinese male group survival show by iQIYI. The third season features 119 trainees from different entertainment agencies, to form a 9-member male group through global viewers' votes. The group IXFORM officially debuted on 25 July 2021.
