He earned his nickname "The Prospector" during the 2015 world championships due to his proclivity for 'finding gold'.

In the process she also reclaimed the number one ranking after nine years in Paris World Cup. Deepika Kumari won individual gold medals at the Archery World Cup Stage 1. Deepika Kumari also defeated Mexico by 5-1 in the final to win gold in Paris.

Kuo Cheng-wei is a Taiwanese professional archer representing Chinese Taipei. He competed in Archery at the 2006 Asian Games and won a silver medal with the men's team consisting of himself, Chen Szu-yuan, Hsu Tzu-yi and Wang Cheng-pang

Bombayla Devi Laishram is an Indian archer. A member of the national recurve team representing India at the international events since 2007, she has won a silver medal at the World Archery Championships, and four gold, five silver, and four bronze medals at various editions of the Archery World Cup. Laishram peaked at no. 14 in the world rankings in March 2009.

Lee Sung-Jin is a recurve archer from South Korea. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, winning in the women's team event at the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2005 she became the women's individual recurve champion at the World Archery Championships and achieved the world number one spot for female recurve archers in the World Archery Rankings. In 2016 the World Archery Federation named her as the ninth best Olympic archer in the history of the Games.

With partners Im Dong-Hyun and Kim Bub-Min, he also finished in third place in the Men's team event. He was the world number one ranked archer from April 2013 to June 2014, winning the individual gold medal at the 2013 Archery World Cup Final and two individual silver medals at the 2011 and 2013 World Championships.

She was selected to be Chile's flag-bearer at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She is of Dutch descent.

Alison Jane Williamson MBE is a retired British archer who represented Great Britain at six consecutive Olympic Games from 1992 to 2012. She won a bronze medal in the women's individual event at the 2004 Summer Olympics, becoming the first British woman to win an Olympic archery medal in ninety-six years. Williamson achieved two medals at the World Archery Championships and represented England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, winning two silver medals.

Taylor Worth is an Australian archer competing in recurve events. He won a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the men's team event, a gold medal at the United States Open and at the 2008 World Youth Archery Championships in the under-18 men's team recurve event. Worth represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's Individual competition, and at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio won a bronze medal alongside Alec Potts and Ryan Tyack in the men's team archery. He has qualified to represent Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Jacob Wukie is an American archer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed for his country in the Men's team event and the men's individual event. He won a silver Olympic medal along with his teammates Brady Ellison and Jake Kaminski. In the individual event he finished 12th in the ranking round, before eliminating Jayanta Talukdar in the first round. He was himself then knocked out by Bård Nesteng.
