Bongbong (rocket)W
Bongbong (rocket)

Bongbong was a experimental Philippine liquid-propellant rocket developed under Project Santa Barbara. The rocket was an experimental system developed by the Philippine Navy, engineers, and a group of scientists that could range up to 12 km. The rocket was named after the son of then-President Ferdinand Marcos, Bongbong Marcos.

Cora (rocket)W
Cora (rocket)

Cora is the name of a single-stage French experimental rocket, which was propelled with nitrogen tetroxide and UDMH. The Cora rocket served for component testing for the planned Europa Rocket, which was eventually built by the European Launcher Development Organisation, the predecessor to the modern European Space Agency. The first stage of the Cora was 5.5 metres long and had a diameter of 2 metres. It weighed with fuel 9.85 tons. The entire rocket had a length of 11.5 metres and a takeoff weight of 16.5 tonnes. It was powered by a three-nozzle engine that provided 220 KN of thrust and had a specific impulse of 280 seconds. A cylindrical black ring supporting four fins was attached to the rocket's base.

Falstaff (rocket)W
Falstaff (rocket)

Falstaff was a British sounding rocket used during the 1970s as part of the Chevaline programme to improve the penetrability of the Polaris nuclear missile. It was the largest UK rocket with a solid booster ever launched.

Ghost rocketsW
Ghost rockets

Ghost rockets were rocket- or missile-shaped unidentified flying objects sighted in 1946, mostly in Sweden and nearby countries like Finland.

Magdeburger StartgerätW
Magdeburger Startgerät

The Magdeburger Startgerät is a missile that was intended to ensure the first manned rocket flight in history. Despite successful tests, the pilot flight originally planned for March 1933 never took place. After several delays, the project was finally stopped in 1934 when the National Socialists prohibited all private missile attempts.

Maul Camera RocketW
Maul Camera Rocket

The Maul Camera Rocket was a rocket for aerial photography developed by Alfred Maul's company from 1903 to 1912. The Maul Camera Rocket was demonstrated in 1912 to the Austrian Army and tested as a means for reconnaissance in the Turkish-Bulgarian War in 1912/1913. It was not used afterwards, because aircraft were much more effective.

OTRAG (rocket)W
OTRAG (rocket)

The OTRAG rocket was a modular satellite-delivery rocket developed by the OTRAG company in the 1970s and 80s. The OTRAG rocket was to become a rocket built up from several mass-produced units, intended to carry satellites with a weight of 1-10 tons or more into orbit. Mass production meant that the vehicle was projected to have been 10x cheaper than conventional vehicles of similar capability.

Project Santa BarbaraW
Project Santa Barbara

Project Santa Barbara is a classified project developed by Ferdinand Marcos during the Cold War. The project focuses on developing rockets and their own anti-typhoon rockets.

Saphir (rocket)W
Saphir (rocket)

Saphir VE231 was a French sounding rocket. It was part of the "pierres précieuses" family of launch vehicles. Saphir was used between 1965 and 1967 and had a payload capacity of 365 kilograms (805 lb). The rocket could reach a maximum altitude of 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) and produced thrust of 280 kilonewtons (63,000 lbf) at launch. Saphir had a launch mass of 18,058 kilograms (39,811 lb), a diameter of 1.40 metres and a length of 17.77 metres (58.3 ft).
