
Aino Ackté was a Finnish soprano. She was the first international star of the Finnish opera scene after Alma Fohström, and a groundbreaker for the domestic field.

Ida Basilier-Magelssen (1846–1928) was a Finnish soprano, who sang in both concerts and opera performances. After a period with the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, she returned to Helsinki where she was particularly active in 1876–77, singing in 12 different operas for a total of 110 performances at the Finnish Theatre. She also toured in Germany, France, Russia and Great Britain.

Alma Evelina Fohström-von Rode (1856–1936) was a Finnish operatic soprano who gained international fame as she performed in the world's most famous opera houses and for a number of monarchs and emperors.

Elin Fohström-Tallqvist, stage name Elina Vandár, was a Finnish operatic soprano who performed in Finland, Russia, the Baltic countries, Germany and Italy at the end of the 19th century. After a relatively short but successful singing career, she returned to Helsinki where she worked as a voice teacher.

Alma Lund (1854–1932) was a Finnish soprano opera singer and actress. She was on stage primarily at the Finnish National Opera, the Novanderska Society, and Den Nationale Scene. She was a part of the choir at the Finnish National Theatre. The part of Marta in Gounod's Faust is her most iconic role. She retired from the opera in 1920. She also starred in Norway's first feature film, Fiskerlivets farer.

Tamara Adele Lund-Ioniță was a Finnish soprano singer and actress. She was born in Turku and was a graduate of the Sibelius Academy. She performed in the Finnish National Opera from 1967 and at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich from 1974 to 1987. Tamara Lund was the mother of the Finnish singer Maria Lund. Her second spouse was the Romanian opera singer Alexandru Ioniță. Tamara Lund died of stomach cancer in Turku in July 2005.

Camilla Nylund is a Finnish operatic soprano. She appears internationally in lyric-dramatic soprano roles such as Beethoven's Leonore, Verdi's Elisabetta, and Wagner's Elisabeth and Sieglinde. She is especially known for portraying leading female characters in operas by Richard Strauss, such as the Marschallin, Arabella, Ariadne and Countess Madeleine. She appeared at international festivals and at the openings of the Frauenkirche in Dresden and the Elbphilharmonie.

Irma Urrila is a Finnish operatic soprano, best known internationally for her role as Pamina in Ingmar Bergman's 1975 film production of Mozart's opera, The Magic Flute.
